I think you might be underestimating Ewashia. Her multi special attack is very strong at 4 attack and she can always guarantee she can use it. Her ability to buff microcorp will be extremely strong on high ground, and her familiar bonding effects any small or medium beast, not just familiars specifically, so it can have more bonding options than you might initially think. I think she's an A- atleast
Sir H im curious on your thoughts on this being competitive, ewashia onshu kurok Water element x3 or 4 Style team where you get multiple turns or and attacks and buffed defense out of 1-2 order markers or a terrain specific teams.
Yeah for ~500 you can get Kurrok, WE X7, Ewashia, Onshu It’s not horrible, but will suffer from developing correctly. Splitting order markers between Kurrok and Ewashia will be difficult to develop, and the setup with water will take time. Im not sure this is a very good build for standard competitive formats. For other formats though I could see it being good.
So this video is basically, “Here are all the figures. I’m not excited about to make an individual video about.” XD Which is OK it’s OK to have an opinion. I do think more familiars are going to come out and that will change things
Excited for GenCon! Been playing since I was a kid, but never competitively! Not super keen on the formatting rules and the gatekeeping for only Official Printed cards, but excited nonetheless! Hope I get to meet ya!
Interesting take in Ewashia! I saw her as A+ unit until now for the price given that she can attack multiple figures at range. I was like that unit is OP when I first read the card.
@@SirHeroscape yup. I've mentioned her on scapers and discord. She is A to A- range imo. She can clog choke points, target multiple figs with 4 attack, enhance microcorps, and she can bond with familiars. For just 115 pts. She is easily the best hero next to drake and dorim of the new figures I'd say. May God have mercy on your soul if your opponent get microcorps on an ewashia waterfall lol
@@SirHeroscape Also I'm picturing Theracus flying Ewashia to height or a choke point right off the bat, boom. Clog a choke point with water. SHe will enhance range squads that much more when facing bonding armies/melee armies
Removed when they did that with Grimnak in master set one? Plenty of times that it’s happened where a unit didn’t get the rest of its company for a while. The gladiators took 5 waves to get any kind of support
...Any unique WARRIOR HERO that follows Revna! I misread that as any unique HERO that follows Revna! I was looking forward to putting Misaerx on Killiain Vane III or, even better, on Raakchott, Steward of Death! That would have made her (and Raakchott ) A tier for sure - darn!
Also arrow gruts are good, not very good. Ive seen you use them alot but seems very 50/50 when you win with em. They are very finnesse, sure they can be efficient but you need lots of beasts and height to maximize them.
I believe Sheep either went to the finals or won the finals of an OHS vCheese event with just Mimring, Raelin and AG’s X6 or something like that. It can do quite well against top armies when played right. Definitely and underestimated army core.
@@SirHeroscape if they win 3 or more events pretty close to each other ill change my mind but compared to other stuff they don't really hit the mark to me, at least more often then not
Yes, and that is huge! Your opponent needs to decide whether to attack one of your Knaves or to attack Killian or another pirate hero. His survivability goes up or else the Knaves' survivability goes up if they focus their attacks on him.

I am so hype, I have my set ready. It has been long.

Awesome! Yeah, I’m looking forward to meeting everyone!
I just bought every single master set besides the marvel one and some custom terrain prices im so excited to come to scapecon 2025
Yeah imagine ewashia placing water on heights with Microcorp no maps naturally have that for them 4 attack 6 defense 8 range with them like that
7 range but, yeah - that power is great tactical equipment for the Microcorp Agents!
@@waynekautzer913 right 7 my bad but yeah plus they got the special defensive power so them on height water is crazy
Yay more videos!! Also Killian feels slightly over priced. Should be 70-75. His range is 1 less than shotguns and he is higher pts
I think it's because he can go with other pirates but the old figures like Johnny shotgun don't go with anyone at all unless you count customs

A bit of a stretch, but is Killian Vane III initials (KV3) a sly nod to C3V?
Interesting…maybe? Never thought of that, but you might be right
Vane - C. Misarex- C+. She is a good 50 pt filler with life drain. Onshu - B. Kita - B- ewashia - A- raakchott - C
I’m surprised…you really think Ewashia is A- ?

Feels weird that they chose to release misaerx in the first wave instead of... idk literally anything else that is a stand alone figure.

But he bonds, Johnny and James do not.
Yes, fair point, I did neglect to mention thag
I do agree with your rankings of Ewashia, onshu, Kita and rackchott. Thanks again for the video.
5 life and 2 defense won't last long. Still over priced.

The first master set had a nice mix of range and melee. Range is barely represented at all with this. Not impressed at all.
