Never forget that Herman was one of the first Western artists to give BABYMETAL a chance by helping them with Road Of Resistance. Love the shirt, and thanks for the constant positivity for them over the years
Not just the work on Road of Resistance, but bringing Babymetal onstage at Download 2015 after one of the event organizers said BM would never perform at Download. That was the greatest kindness given!
@@Troy1399 Herman and Oli were definitely critical in helping get the girls cred in the West -- so were Rob Zombie and of course Rob Halford -- but the _very_ first Westerner who saw Babymetal's potential was Marty Friedman, who lives in Japan and met the girls waaay back in late-2011. I cannot listen to this song/ watch the video without getting goosebumps and having a massive smile on my face as soon as that pre chorus/ chorus kicks in
@jokok2333 shit I forgot about this band and song. I'm definitely gonna learn it now that I came back to this post. I got better on guitar so I'm sure I can learn it. Though I bet that solo will tough to get down but practice makes you perfect over time.
Divine Attack gives me Starlight vibes because of Su's vocals, the meaning of the song is similar to Road of Resistance, and that quiet part that sounds like its going to become a guitar solo, but doesn't, always reminds me of Distortion.
@@slowtalker the second pre-chorus has just the right amount of vibrato for my taste. The fact that she does sing with very little vibrato is exactly why I love her voice so much.
Yes, it's taken me a few listens to get into it. I hope the guitars are pushed a bit more forward in live performance and maybe on the CD as well. It is certainly encouraging for the new album. What I really hope for is more from Moa and no masks on the Kamis.
Baby metal is actually insane, had a friend show me, thought it would be alright, but they do NOT mess around at all Haha. They go hard every song and every concert. It’s been my top band ever since behind Metallica and dragon force.
Great to see Herman supporting our girls again ! I think because Babymetal uses Road of Resistance as their closing song almost every time. And I agree, it might very well be a bit of a warm up song. It's gonna be a concept album, so that's interesting.
It's so cool to see you following their progress and supporting them. I think the song is amazing and Su-Metal has for the first (?) time written the lyrics. I think the lyrical flow was one of the highlights, so she's off to a good start. I wish it was a little longer though, with a solo or another verse after the quiet DnB part. But still, it was an immaculate first release and they are surely saving the best songs for later, like you mentioned. Can't wait to see them in April.
Lo dice este hombre que está adherido a la historia de babymetal con colaboraciones épicas en cuanto a composición y shows en vivo. Gracias a la música por gente como ustedes.
I appreciate your reaction to this video. You are the man who have supported BABYMETAL in their early stage like a mentor or a guardian angel. And the fans are looking forward to new collaboration between DF and BM. As you commented, this is just an appetizer. I reconfirmed the purity of Su's voice even after some maturity. Moa's velvety but powerful voice in the back sounds great, too. But we all know this song is just one of their various faces that we are going to witness from now on. Hail to the newly born lyricist Su!! 😍
Herman understands Babymetal more than most people. Always fun to listen to his analysis of music. Don't know if Herman noticed that Su-metal is credited as one of the writers on this song, which is a first.
Hey Herman! Awesome reaction! You nailed it man, they are actually releasing a new song every month leading up to the album! I can't wait for it to launch. I wish I could go to Europe to catch the Sabaton+BM tour...
I'm still waiting for Dragonforce and Babymetal tour. Both bands were supposed to come here in Philippines last 2020 for Pulp Summer Slam but Covid struck

Here we gather, mighty men,
with blades of steel in our hearts.
Together we vow, together we shout.
Let our journey begin here.
[Verse 1]
The way of escape has been cut off
The silence has been broken
The time has come to fight
Raise your hand
[Chorus]
_The time has come, stand up_
Go forward to the tomorrow you've drawn
_Time to go your way_
Open the road with your hands
[Verse 1]
Even if it's a fleeting dream
Even if it's against your destiny
If it's worth defying
I want you to offer your heart
[Chorus]
_The time has come, stand up_
If there's a future you want to see
_Time to go your way_
Break through the wall with your hands
[Instrumental Bridge]
[Chorus]
_The time has come, stand up_
Go forward to the tomorrow you've drawn
_Time to go your way_
Open the road with your hands
[Post-chorus]
Woh, oh oh, oh oh
Go forward to the tomorrow you've drawn
Woh, oh oh, oh oh oh oh
Open the road with your hands
