I got to meet and pull with John Brzenk today, here's my thoughts #armwrestling #riser #pronation #cupping #handstrength #strength #toproll #goat #legend #johnbrzenk
Of course not, BECAUSE The sport Will never be as AMATEUR as it was. John is The goat, but you all know that is one of The main reasons he was on The top For so long
@@WristCracker that doesn't make much sense..John was as "amateur" as anyone else...he never trained much off the table like guys do today..and he wasn't on PEDs until he hit 40.. yet he was head and shoulders above most ppl for a long time..competing in multiple classes very often and winning while others who tried that usually didn't place in any category..John would have been special and dominant in today's era as well..there was nothing he lacked.. versatility, table IQ, skills, the ability to bulk up when required.. nothing
Very cool..thanks for sharing! Seeing John always brings to mind the line someone said when he had a match with Travis.."the greatest of all time vs the greatest in his own mind" Lol
Very cool. Thanks for sharing brother. I know when I want to get my blood pumping in order to do some good training, watching John Brzenks highlight vids do the trick every time! When he destroyed Denis Cyplenkov that first time, epic!!
You probably just talked me into going to Orlando in August. He seems to be a great MAN. He is my favorite ATHLETE and I’m a few years older than him. Been a fan a long time.
I think the main take away I get from this video is that john is a super cool guy. I rewatched the video a second time but this time I made it a point to take a shot of tequila everytime i heard "super cool guy" and I was completely hammered in 6 minutes 😂
Nice to hear. So I had the opportunity to zoom with him because I proposed to paint his portrait. We chatted for an hour. It was very easy communication. He ended up turning the offer down sadly, so when I met him in Istanbul I was a bit awkward, which made the meeting less fun. But I sat next to him for a bit. I just didn't ask him all the questions I wanted to ask so I am kicking myself. Anyways, I really hope he is a wall for Leonidas!
@@JasonPaull Yep. It was frustrating because I can really paint portraits. Check out my Christianiaportraits. leahrobb.com/wp22/christiania-portraits/ I haven't totally given up but will propose to open up the offer more widely and see if there are a number of possible subjects and if the could be crowd-funding from the community for such ideas. I need to find the right person so work with - perhaps Neil Pickup?
I had the chance to train with him a few years ago and didn’t go. I had just competed in a tournament and was sore as hell. I didn’t want to pull the GOAT with a noodle arm. I would have skipped the tournament if I had prior knowledge he would be in town.
I dont think John can beat him in an endurance battle. I hate to bet against John...however, I don't think Leonidas is ready for John's hand and I think if John eins it'll be through dominant cupping and pronation quickly to not allow Leonidas to get into his strengths.
How is he feeling? Like does he feel like he did against Petrenko for example? Because he has rested for sometime now and have had time to get healthy.
He didn't say and I dont know him on a personal level so I wasn't asking too many questions. He felt strong but he's so many levels above me I have no idea how he is compared to when he pulled Petranko. His shoulder is still bothering him though
@@viktore69 i know he's taken them in the past but i dont think he's posted about taking any recently so im not sure. I think its mainly been R&R for rehab
@@JasonPaull Sorry for asking too much. But did he look healthy? Like he has had covid and such that made him lose endurance drastically. More than normal. Is he back to ” normal ” level? Basing by just looking at him?
@@viktore69 no worries. I wish i could say more but since this was the first time meeting him in person i dont really have a baseline to judge against. He wasnt sick and didnt seem like he was fatiguing quickly, he seemed healthy and strong but his shoulder still irritates him.
Also shows you how great Todd Hutchings is lately. Beating John, before John beat Voevoda. Also Todd beat Krasimir Kostadinov recently which John never beat in his life to my knowledge...
@@GangdamStyle20 i could be wrong so don't quote me on this but on one of Todds recent videos of him throwing weight in a forest i believe he said or hinted at never using anything? I think he mentioned peptides but that might have only been about how they helped his dog...
So great to still have John in the Sport, their will never be another like him
I think you are probably right
There never will be
Of course not, BECAUSE The sport Will never be as AMATEUR as it was. John is The goat, but you all know that is one of The main reasons he was on The top For so long
That's true to a degree; he is 60 and still competing at the highest level though

It's really hard to comprehend how strong he must have been at his peak. His power is something truly weird, considering how light he was.
Agreed!
The 🐐
100%
Hes the 🐐
Brzenk is and has always been a class act, the true GOAT of armwrestling!
100%

I hadn't heard that before but it is fitting hah

I just wish I knew about armwrestling back then and could have spectated John in his prime
@@JasonPaull I can relate.

I think he'll live up to your expectations. I say go if you can!
cool video. and he just drinks beer and is like 60. truly goated.
Thanks for sharing your experience! 👍🤝

Yea i don't make scripts so i probably repeat myself a lot more than i should, no experience in front of a camera ha
@@JasonPaullLol that's all good. I was just joking with you. I never met John but I get the feeling I'd say the same about him over and over 😂
It had to be a great experience.

Oh thats too bad, a portait of John would be an instant classic

Hey I found your channel. It was so fun to talk to John on Saturday.
It was, he's still at a level ill never get close to

Do you think John can beat Leonidas? It would be incredible to achieve it at 60 years old

SUBSCRIBED 💪
He’s probably still top ten at his size if he’s training and if he gets in top shape he’s easily top 5.
Do you by chance know if John is going to be at the tournament this Saturday the 13th taking place at the Rainbow Saloon?
I'm pretty sure he said he wouldn't be
@@JasonPaull Ok, good to know. Thank you.
And heavyweights arm wrestling traning like levan and irakli 3days a week is best or there is any other way
Everyone is different, gotta find out what works for you
@@JasonPaull Great response. I think a lot of people forgot this to some extent.
How many time you train arm wrestling
One practice a week and 2 days lifting weights
Please 🙏 answer my both questions 😢😢

I didn't know you had a channel haha
He’s trying to rival Ryan Bowen in UA-cam clout
Yep me and my 75 followers coming to take over the armwrestling community

I wouldn't say he's the goat, unless you talking pound for pound.
Super cool stuff man🙂
