You can turn the fast focus eye piece to sharpened the reticle. Normaly, when ajusted properly, the reticle should be as sharp as the image, both together at the same time.
I'm just about to buy one of these NX8 4-32x50 with the MOAR reticle. Thank you for sharing this video. Makes me feel better about what I'm going to get. I hear the included lens caps are quality too :)
@@mtnghostgunner8461 Awesome. Ready for war type quality? I'll take it. This can really be a do-it-all scope with the glass, the magnification range, the design/construction. Thank you again for the great video and for the feedback :)
The reticle is definitely thin, but yes - my phone camera has a real hard time focussing on it. I've since got into the SideShot with the GoPro Hero 7 Backbone with a 12mm lens, and the reticle is more visible at lower magnifications, but it's still thin. With that being said, I have only found it difficult to use the reticle at low mag against dark paper targets in certain light conditions. Not so much that I've turned on the red or green illumination (which does light up the entire thing daylight bright), but just enough where I have to take an extra few seconds to validate POA. Is it a deal breaker? In my opinion it's not. If I'm using 4x, I'm probably hunting or pesting anyway with out holding much, if anything. Getting on target with the center dot is a non-issue at any magnification🤘
You can't really go wrong with the 4-32! My 34mm 7-35 lets more light pass through, but I still use this one more than anything else. It's also been perfect for NRL22
I have a Samsung s10 and the focus is just as shit as yours.either picture is out of focus or the reticle isn't focused.my daughters Samsung s5 does a better job imo.
I seriously believe that! These phone cameras can take larger pictures, but there's too much black magic behind the scenes in software to be useable for filming like this :/

The newer iPhones do not focus well, but I have since setup my GoPro perfectly with this scope

That's a great reticle, had one on a 5-20 and I still miss it! Yeah the flip up covers are standard Tennebraex, ready for war type quality lol

Awesome video
cool vidoe thanks for doing this
Can't see crosshairs to thin
Thanks for the video. I’m wondering if the inability to see the reticle at shorter range was due to the camera?

2nd plane scopes work better for filming 😀
Can you repeat this, but with a less busy target such as a single orange dot?
Is this the best scope for long range?

Would you day the reticule is hard to find normally, I'm looking a buying 1 but bit worried about the thin reticule in low light and sunny days
I have one and the reticle is fine to pick up. It's a little thin but is definitely usable on 4x and just gets better from there
It’s weird 24 to 33 no real difference

Poor choice of a target for this type of demonstration.
