From their beginnings in ministry and event planning, they have been faithful to God's guidance and direction while growing their company. We discuss the history of lax standards in meat processing and packaging and how companies can get away with putting a "packaged in America" sticker on meat even when it's imported from other countries. Good Ranchers' goal was to raise these standards, sourcing meat solely from American ranches. Then, we talk about the "war on meat" and the politics surrounding militant veganism. Jesus please hear my prayers. I know sometimes, it may be hard to trust God’s plan but we must take comfort and have faith in him. I know we can’t place our faith in mortal things. I have lost so much since losing my job as a social worker at Forsyth Hospital. I lost my job because I declined the vaccine I declined due to my pre existing health condition lupus and heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption. I’m waitressing and I’m so thankful to be working but I’m not making nearly enough to make ends meet. I have two beautiful boys both are autistic. My husband passed away years ago. I feel so alone. Each month is a struggle to not end up on the streets with my two boys. I’m constantly afraid of losing my home. But even as I face homelessness nearly every month. I have faith, God will provide. He has this far. With GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE please pray for me and my two little boys. 😭🙏🏾

Love my Good Ranchers but I wish they sold like Good Chop where it is Ala Carte. But I can see why they sell by the box because they are sourcing from American farms and they need a headcount.
Corley, I love your name! have a granddaughter named Coralie. Different, but your names sound alike. That delights me, because I've never met another Coralie (a French name meaning "little maiden"). It's very uncommon, which makes her unique and special. I've never met another Corley either, so you're special and unique also! :)

I use rendered bacon fat for most of my cooking oil. Can save a decent buck over time, assuming you are already eating bacon anyway.

God did not tell this man to sell meat. I have such a problem with anyone who says, “God told me…” My favorite quote by Justin Peters goes like this, “If you want to hear God speak, read your Bible. If you want to hear God speak audibly, read your Bible out loud.”
So, God totally changed character and stopped talking to people after the Bible was finished? Even though he sent the Holy Spirit (counselor) to guide in Truth. He didn’t mean literally?
I wondered about that too, but I do not think that changes how the Lord may have guided them into this business. I do think some people say God said when they really mean they were led by the Holy Spirit. He also may be in a different denomination? I know reformed Baptist and reformed definitely would question a "God said" type thing.
@@lisag9442 Me too. I think many are so used to the flippancy of hearing the more liberal teachings about God that they get caught up with this terminology. I don't know exactly what the Good Ranchers owners believe in this matter, but I was thinking about this too when I watched the interview... I LOVE that quote From Justin Peters!!!!
@@solochristo65 yes me too. I like the Justin Peters quote too. I have sisters and brothers in Christ who have said the same, and while I don't believe in the audible voice per se, I am also careful not to put my understanding on someone else (only when it conflicts or contradicts with scripture must it be called out though!). I think a lot of weird things happen in the Charismatic sect in which those people always go around and say "God said to me..." And then the prophecy never comes to fruition.
I don't know. I'm still learning too. I appreciate hearing how the Holy Spirit works in each Believer's life to bring Glory to God!

In Biblical terms, when did humans start eating animals, and why?
From what I can tell, at first there weren't any animals being eaten in the garden of Eden. God said he was giving them plants to eat.
Then there was the "fall of man", and they were eating animals (and God gave them permission to keep doing that).
Why did this happen? What caused them to switch from eating plants in Eden to eating animals on Earth?
According to the Bible, as Humans on Earth we have permission to eat any animals we want - chickens, cows, pigs, sheep, dogs, cats, elephants, dolphins, whales, chimps etc.
Would you care for some monkey brain souffle? How about some whale testicles? I heard they're better than bulls. the right question is what other animals were eating before hand. Imagine s lion eating flower and a wolf nibbling at bark. Amazing!!
It is Genesis where God allowed Noah and his descendants to eat meat after the flood. Remember, it's important to read and understand the Bible as a whole, not just certain sections. Hope that helps!!

I’m not one to comment a lot on here, I love this podcast! My husband makes fun of me for quoting Allie B too much! When I listened to this one though it made me cringe a bit. I understand, these guys are selling meat and they need their angle, but these statistics don’t seem super honest. 80 percent of GRASS FED beef is imported, first of all. That’s because most Americans prefer grain finished beef because we like beef that tastes good. I don’t know where he got the line about the 100,000 cattle ops going out of business, but it seems like a pretty reasonable number. Farms go under all the time, for various reasons including death of the owner. I can definitely believe that number is true, but using it as a selling point is a little sketch.
These “stats” are effective at scaring people. The meat industry sees enough of that from the animal activists.
I’m all for using, buying & enjoying meat from Good Ranchers! I’m not saying anyone shouldn’t buy their products and I applaud them for sharing their faith. I only have a problem with dragging others in the meat industry down to promote yourself.
I'm one of the husbands. My wife drank the cool aid. The whole meat business is as bad if not worse than gasoline. And also, I can't stand this lady. Her voice is so annoying and her demeanor blargh.
Think about it, they are actually on the cheap side . Competitors rank at 45 to 80 USD per lb. They are around the mid twenties. Entire every time all of them say they donate it means on my wallet. So screw that , In not paying their taxes.
Where in Scripture did God say to sell meat? Or is this just another claim of extra-biblical revelation?
