Lage Lighting does a wiring loom for the rear lights, pretty sure it works for all series 4 models, I bought one and it Plugged straight into my body loom and lights. Wicked rig btw
One of the best upgrades anyone can do to a factory body shell is that dynamat sound deadener , its amazing with excellent thermo properties... Did my FJ when over in Middle East , was the ultimate in such temps. Great build. :-)
Have you got a second fuel filter in there? Or just the nissan one on the fire wall? I dont believe those filters are suitable for a common rail diesel.
@lockednloaded_4x4 Might be worth looking into. I ditched mine for a mux/hilux filter setup when I started swap 6 years ago (way before dca had their kit). From memory those filters only filter down to 15 or 20 micron where a commonrail system needs something like 2-5 micron filtration. Anyway top effort on the build. Super clean 👌
Since im in townsville. mihght need your advice. tb48 chopped gu. play car. ive been at an event or two where ive seen your rig. sas'd d40 ill be selling soon. use some of that money to sort the GU
How long did the engine conversion take? Where did you get the wiring loom from. Would you recommend a 4jj1 swap to other people. Did you have to send the gear box away to get Diesel conversions Australia to machine the plate that goes on the front of the gear box.
Took about 5 months but 3 months was waiting on parts for the motor. The loom I used was from DCA which is pretty easy to wire in. Would definitely recommend as a swap but no need to build the motor. I just took the front plate off and sent it away. Not the whole gearbox.

Great Build but I do have a question,
How comfortable is the engine if you were to go for 37-39s in the wheel deparment .
How’d you go with the rear mount of the sliders with the long arms
Ive just cut the rear mount off so just running the two and it’s still super solid.
hey mate couldnt hear properly where did you say the splash guards were from? lungy or bungy it sounded like? thanks @lockednloaded_4x4
Where did you get the back black carpets from also man mines wrecked
Which one pulls harder, this or the cruiser?
Cruiser for sure mitch might disagree.

Also with the headliner did you re roll it or spray it ?
Just sprayed it
How’s ur headliner going after been taken down and put back up, any sagging anywhere ?
Hey mate, nah been taken down twice now and still goes back up like new. They’re a solid design so no sagging

Just the factory filter from a zd30, never had an issue with it.

What rack system are you using to get the rooftop so low?
I am using the gutter mounts for a steel rack, and theyre just mounted straight to the rooftop.
Hey mate what year and model is this?
Is the rtt mounted just on the roof gutter brackets or is there crossbar under there?
Direct to the gutter mounts

How do you rate the hyplerflex arms driving wise?
Yeah they’re awesome. Just need the swaybars otherwise it’s a little bit wild
Weren’t you selling this? It was on FB marketplace
Still up for sale, got another build that’s underway and going to primarily focus on that
Hey mate. Still up for sale?
