It is a lot more fun to watch hard difficulty, I was losing interest after the last video when you won 3-0 vs Alcaraz without much effort
Few things.
Serve - try the advanced serve. Right stick down, aim first with left stick and try hold it there, then time it perfect. I can usually hit close to the line with a 45 serve.
Serve & volley. Very easy and cheap tactic to win points. Especially on deuce side of court, serve out wide then do a control (square) volley to the open court. Hold R1 to follow serve to net.
Inside out FH. Hold L2 to run around your bh and his powerful FH shots.
Mix up your shots more. When rallying aim for a few perfect deep topspin. Use short angled topspin shots to take your opponent off the court then hit to the open court.
Shot choice / I’d only hit flat power when it sits up or they hit it short. If it’s a deep shot, topspin is easier to rally with.
Stand more behind the baseline while rallying. Wait for the opening before moving forward
Slice more. Especially the short slice. Full power perfect time slice is a useful tool to have.
Fun series to watch but honestly try to vary up play a bit. I can win most games on hard difficulty but I do lose occasionally to a serve and volley type ai. I find it incredibly hard to get the 70%, closest i got was 65. It’s such bs, -4% for an error but 1-2 for a winner.
Maybe watch some Federer videos from 2015-2019 period where he played all court tennis and try to emulate that somewhat.

lets go! Hard is supposed to be hard. You're level 14 up against 25 above. it HAS to be hard.
play on at hard, part of the enjoyment is building your player to be able to win the bigger tournaments, plus more fun for us to see you fail than just win all the time.

At the beginning I struggled a lot, I actually didn't enjoy it BUT now (level 6) i am having a lot of fun.
The gameplay is very balanced like i said it took me few Hours to get the right feeling for the Game.
It is the Best Tennis Game out there for sure maybe it is the Best Tennis Game ever... time will tell.

I've heard that career mode is online only and the online portion will be shut down in 2026 is that true ? I'm on the fence about spending £50-£80 on this game .might try and get it when its on sale .cant justify spending that much on a game that has a two year life span .
Definitely stay on hard mate, well more interesting to watch but the stamina does seem to go too quickly :s

How do sponsorships work? I know in basketball the sponsors give you vc and gear.
How i can unlock the other tournaments? I don't know how to do it. I'm still doing the first ones
The thing is tho, you want the game to be challenging, winning every game is no fun, its not realistic if its your first Wimbledon and you just dominate the best in the world
You def coulda won this on hard. A little better shots and more stamina, and you would have been in the final.
