It depends on the shade. Potentially a very light pastel yellow might work with the blue (which might look different in real life vs UA-cam video)

As a Norwegian living in the Arctic, instead of a hot water bottle we wear thin merino wool layers underneath our clothes. It keeps you cool and warm at the same time. They're a must have.

One huge peice of advice that SAVED my family !!! Was that our toddler (kid no. 1) was such a soft sleeper, and we were scared about the newborn disrupting her flow / sleep and making a cranky toddler… so my mom told me a bit of gold… get videos / sounds of other babies crying/murmuring/making noises, etc and it gets them used to it all. My toddler was annoyed at first but now is very easy going around baby noise … now we get on with dealing with kid no.2 and she sleeps through ❤❤ good advice, hope it helps 😊😊

Maybe have pan go to his Nanny or grandad for a night or weekend just to let him settle in a different place (assuming they don’t stay at yours) and they can learn Pan’s little things so the stress comes off you? Obviously write down his current schedule, but grandparents might learn Pan’s little ways about bath time, bed time, food etc more organically

Love a hot water bottle but ensure you don't use boiling boiling water, let the kettle sit for a few minutes. Only fill it so far up, not fully and allow the air to come out. Ensure it's closed properly and do the tip test (hold upside down over the sink) to see if there is any potential spillages. Other important aspects are ensuring it fully dries out between uses and replacing it after so long (not sure the reccomended time period) to reduce risk of it bursting. Always have a cover on it and I would never trust it over night in a child's bed. Pop it in to warm the bed up perhaps an hour before bedtime and then remove when the child goes to bed so there's no risk of them getting burnt in the night. Definetly a heating tip but everything comes with risk, same with electric blankets causing fires

You have twice as many ideas in a blue room! And yes, blue and plant green are very relaxing colors. Color psychology is amazing. How about ochre for the baseboards/trim? It's like matte gold, still yellow but not primary, more calm and desaturated.

I can’t wait to meet the baby! You two are just the cutest couple. Also, not that my opinion matters but I think if you paint the baseboards a yellow, it will kind of clash with the lovely blue walls you have in the bedroom but again that’s just my opinion, if you think it will look good, then go for! I do love that you guys aren’t afraid of colour and pattern because so many people just pick boring colours ❤

The only fires in new builds are electrical fires. 🙃 Or so it seems here. As someone with a father who is a handyman, I really appreciate Thomas' tip. My dad is always very appreciate of the people that offer him water on hot days, or even a meal sometimes, and talk with him. He has had clients like that for as long as I've been alive, that love to call him and he likes to help them. The sage green looks so beautiful! I am also first learning to drive at 26 years old! Which is sometimes seen as odd in the States. I'm getting used to it, but I relate to still needing someone in the car to supervise or help me watch out for other people.

What kind of saved my postpartum both times was freezer meals. Especially with my high needs baby I would not have been able to cook a Hello Fresh meal. It is pre-prepped but still takes time to put together and very often I was grateful to just be able to put something in the oven. I think Hello Fresh is amazing for many people in every day life, but I just got frustrated when we tried it once because I love improvising in cooking, as well as spontaneously decide to make something and I felt stifled by what we had pre-chosen. I'm weird.😆
