Thank you for this information. I am sure it will come useful in the future if I come across a similar situation. Seeing that it works gives me more confidence in the process. I perhaps would have used a drill bit to clean up the inserted broken end rather than a die grinder. 👍👍
Still do not know why the design has such long bolts with such long collars on them and not use shorter bolts. Like to know why this is?
