- "Ain't That a Kick in the Head" written in 1960 by Sammy Cahn and Jimmy Van Heusen. Wonderfully performed by Seth MacFarlane and The John Wilson Orchestra. The song was originally performed by Dean Martin and featured in the 1960 movie "Ocean's Eleven".
Say what you will about his comedy, but damn that man's voice is pure gold.
Okay, I will say this about his comedy : I love it.

He does a great job. Keeping this music alive. Super multi talented but like Harry Conick they just don't have the chops. I mean you've set yourself up to be compared to Frank, Nat, Dino, Bennett ! No one compares to these guys.

He's one of the people who pretty much made Fox bring back an incredible show called Cosmos, which is hosted now by Neil DeGrasse Tyson, who is a pupil of the late and great Carl Sagan.
Absolutely. He also supported the Writers Guild strikes, is still supporting equal marriage across the US, and is genuinely an absolutely amazing person. So, some people don't like some of the humour in Family Guy? That's their problem, not Seth's.

This is one of the reasons why Seth MacFarlane is my favorite actor/performer. He's got such a great taste in music, BRILLIANT vocals, and he's hilarious! This guy deserves more fame than he's getting. God, I make it my vow to meet him in person before I die...Just once.
I especially like his taste in music. My parents would've loved to know someone appreciates the music they listened to before I was born and after the original singers died.

I feel like he can fit into the category of people like John Pizzarelli and others that are keeping the magic of singing swing music or Jazz in general alive and well as the saying goes. Thanks to people like him he's keeping the interest in Jazz alive for people around my age or younger because thanks to him he has reintroduced people to Jazz that otherwise wouldn't have had exposure and probably wouldn't have gone on to discover other wonderful people in this genre.
