So i've seen a lot of swiss video, especially yours in the last months, but i did not see a single solid lane overtaking, or people passing on red light etc. How can swiss drivers be so polite or so civilized? How many car crashes did you saw this year? Or people dying in car accidents? there is a channel on youtube called, romanian driver, just see a few videos, you will get angry in the first minutes. I don't even recommend you to drive on romanian roads.
Hi Total! (correct me if I'm addressing you wrongly 😀) It's a very interesting topic to be discussed about the driving attitude on each country. I agree that most (not all) of Swiss drivers normally respect the traffic rules and strictly cares about pedestrian which has to be like this in everywhere but not all of countries do the same thing in real world. We still have car accidents and some casualties in Switzerland. Thanks a lot to brining this kind of interesting comment while enjoying my videos over last months. Hi, you have also to take into account that Switzerland is a relatively small country, with many motorways, so you reach your destination inside the country fast without having to break driving rules. In Romania you still need about 10h to drive from one part of the country to the other. Swiss people are most of them in the 3rd generation of wealthy living, in Romania many people bought their first car during the last years and are still very keen to show off. In West Europe generally there were many accidents and most deaths on the road in the 70s, when most of the people started to drive and didn't really know their limits. Also the fines are very high in Switzerland, a friend of mine had to pay 50 euros for driving 7 km/h over the speed limit.
Thanks Roads for your addition! It's true that fines are pretty expensive here in Switzerland, indeed it can be even calculated as a percentage of income when violations over a certain speed. 👮✋🚗
