I was always skeptical about the tie rod angle and bump steer. 4banger mafia used a gauge to test it and found MORE bump steer with the rack riser. I've also heard of people tracking the car who tried the rack riser and got rid of it because they said it made the handling worse. Nice to see some consensus on the issue.
One of the most informative rsx UA-camrs can’t belive you don’t have more subs.
Thank you bro
I've done most of those suspension adjustments on my EP3. The difference is night and day. I enjoy the car on a different level now. Also fun to tweak the suspension as power levels increase. Hitting the desired mark is very satisfying.
Thanks for sharing the pros and cons of suspension parts and how they perform with your setup, I'm restoring an 04 Artic blue pearl.
So glad to see that your going more on the functional route with your car now! Over the years i've noticed many people tend to take this path after going style/stance at first!
Thanks for sharing this information about the rsx torque steer. It’s really helpful to see what you are talking about
Awesome work, Roy. I'm glad you fixed the steering issues, it was scary. Good job man. 👏
You are doing the Lords work. Amazing content here!
Should make a video of the full build 👌 clean asf
I hated the torque steer on my car when i went K20/K24 with the extra torque i was swerving everywhere. I have upgraded to electric power steering, PCI rack slider, PCI spherical tie rod kit, PCI spherical compliance bushings & now the car feels amazing. The bushings are great the only complaint is they are a bit harsh and feel everything on the road. I can launch the car with it going straight. The tie rod kit being spherical bushing helps with the angle.
I've been watching your supercharger content, and wondering the whole time if you've got the stock trans? Or do you have an LSD? I'm wanting to supercharge my type s as well.
You just earned yourself another subscriber! Love the amount of info your providing. Thnanks!
Glad to hear!
Good info! Looking into getting a RSX & your knowledge will definitely help.
Was waiting on this one 💪🏾
Any chance you have the steering rack tools part number? I wouldn't mind trying to adjust mine to fix the slop before going to electric steering
Great information bro thank you
Great content! How much for the installation of the SHG steering rack slider? I have an '02 type S. I don't know if I need one, but I'd like to improve ride quality on bumpy roads.
Heard some people using moog k200799 rather than the pci spherical bushing cause they cheaper and spherical as well. Not sure about fitment
Just searched for it and those do fit the rsx. I think i might just do that then since i already added some caster so i might not need the pci bushings. Thank you for the great suggestion!
you know the part number for the small bushing?
@@adrianvega4817 k200799
@@Awesomeidiot69 thats the big one.
how did you find all this info? trial and error or forum?
Roy,
Would you happen to know what the angle of your tie rods are? I’m trying to work out this same issue on my RSX. I’m at about 12 degrees
Roy what's the name of the thing ymthats by your sift knob with the number when you shift gears
you just saved me 200 on that riser for the bracket becasue i got the ktuned control arm and ball joint
great informative video :)
Whats your spring rates on your coilovers?
Did you ever got an alignment when u first went supercharged??
Yes
Those white revits on the body need to be colored black dude!
This does not know what hes talking about. Good luck if u guys listen to him
There is some misinformation here. High angle increases bump steer.
