It is so weird to see Nightcore pop back up into my recommended. I used to obsess over it as a kid, and this song was one of those songs I'd listen to on repeat and imagine my OCs to and stuff. Hell, I still do that with other songs, but I can't help but come back to this and relive the memories with a more mature mind.

In fourth grade I was bullied relentlessly for being neurodivergent. This was my favorite song in the whole world. I would listen to it on loops when I got home from school. On days I was being bullied I’d go to the back of the playground and swing. The whole time I’d be singing this song to myself over, and over, and over again. The lyrics had really stuck with me. I WAS left behind. The people I thought were my friends got rid of me. The next year in fifth grade I was alone. I stopped hanging out with the friends who treated me like trash. I’ve still been picked on since kindergarten. When I got to middle school I started exploring world design. Fnaf always did such a beautiful job telling a story without actually showing it. I was inspired to make something of my own. Now I’m working on a comic book. I have new friends (and a boyfriend) who actually know about my neurodivergence. They actually help me. I still listen to this song to remind me how long ago everything happened. I guess it’s a way to heal my inner child… :)
I also used to hear this song on Loop when I was going tru a Really Bad depression years ago cause yes...sometimes one does feel left behind , Glad you are doing better 🙏
