The swan (soul) will fly away alone. The way a leaf severed from a tree may blow any which way, directed by the wind, the soul is directed by our deeds and, says Kabirdas, it watches from above at the huge fair of the material world. Life and death aren't in our hands, but our journey is determined by us alone.
