hey fsminer. ive got some questions relating to your vehicles 2 things. installing terrafarm off github doesnt work with your vehicles. and 2 after playing on my platinum save a while with your cars n stuff the 527 track skidder appears to suddenly be lagging my game! it was working fine just the other days but suddenly it started stuttering like crazy. no idea why

Hey I been thinking about trying this map out (PS5) but I’ve seen and read some stuff saying some productions function properly or it’s not balanced well and it’s confusing etc, have you experienced this at all? Obviously you’re playing the map, lol but would you recommend it ? And if you have any negatives about the map what are they ?
I've been playing, haven't noticed any issues, and not necessarily confusing, for me, just like any other production chains, you provide what it says and it gives you what it says, about all of them produce something that's also used somewhere else, so the more you own the less you'll have to provide, I think it's easiest to distribute all but your end of the line products unless you're really into transporting things around, which the map isn't best for, bumpy roads, there's a nice train but it doesn't go past the store where you gotta haul containers from so that could be a improvement, could be confusing where to start, but I noticed about everything needed electric, so I started with coal mine to supply the power plant, then bought power plant and oil production, then started to add based on the product I was already getting, like stone is by product of coal, so I got that, same with steel.
I started on farm manager and was able to become a millionaire with no debt, in couple years and all I did was haul few loads of containers, now I can add all the other productions and start buying up all the property. It almost feels too easy.
The map could definitely use some smoothing out for how much heavy hauling you gotta do if you wanna run all the productions
@@DanimalUpchurchthanx bro, I think ima gonna actually check it out and start on it tonight. I’ll try and follow your lead and start getting electricity first and start from there. I play solo and looking forward to doing multiple things or “projects”. I don’t have the platinum dlc yet , I might get it soon but would not having that effect production a lot ?? @@hoodie5004 I'm pretty new to FS myself, been playing couple month and have got all the DLCs 2 weeks ago, but I can't think of anything on that map that wouldn't work as base game, besides tractors/equipment and that, I think the only think platinum version is, the new crops, and ability to use winches(the yarder I had lots of fun with and will be a permanent think on all forestry), otherwise I don't really know what it gives you... It's not mining like you see on PC where they dig into the earth, you can scoop piles off ground, or it's dumped into trailer like lime would be, but still pretty cool, I like production chain type stuff, and this map has a lot, once I work it all out, I'll likely add even more, i wanna produce everything possible and automate (distribute) that process much as possible, the field work, forestry, , keeping chains supplied with the things you gotta haul from store, and hauling the end of the line products will keep me busy enough to justify automating it. Although the amount of money you get for nothing, almost seems cheaty.

Have you heard of the production mod , I’m sure i got the name wrong but it’s the mod where it introduces a lot of production chains where it pretty much makes you Have to produce everything in the game like use mostly all the crops and productions etc , and then you can have I think 3 main products that combine a shit load of stuff and then THAT produces “reputation”, comes on a pallet and it sells for a lot ! Like 400k-800k depending on what difficulty you

@@hoodie5004 think I did hear about that on a video, sounds cool, would probably be a easy add to try once I got everything else up and running on this map, would like to see just how much I can expand on productions. kinda quit frustrated last night tho, gotta find better way to haul containers, a huge miss is not having the store near the train, got a nice train that passes all the main productions, but doesn't pass anywhere near store that you gotta haul lots of 20' containers from...
Not sure if I can build my own store to get the containers from yet either, so gonna try doing some research on that while at work.
The i.t. truck and trailer will haul and auto load 7 containers worth
