Filipino Tip again: The word sayang may be closely translated as a waste. At times when a word repeats in Filipino, it's to emphasize the connotation. So Sayang na sayang is something like, "It is such a waste" but in this context, regret also makes sense. Oh and I acknowledge that part of the trouble of speaking Filipino is the inflections and emphasis on certain syllables. The emphasis in SAYANG is actually in the first syllable not second. SAyang not saYANG.. hope that's clear enough xD
@@eustacehendrix9659 hahahaha. Note that we were talking abt "sayang" as in "sayang na sayang" (regretting too much, or "what a waste!"); "SAya" meanwhile means skirt, as in "baro't saya" (traditional filipino women's blouse & skirt) -->so sayang pula, is red skirt. Lastly, "saYA" is happiness. Hope this helps.

I remember Regine sang with Aegis and she had so much fun. Anyway, some would add an Aegis playlist when people are already too drunk to care and everyone sings (screams) along and have fun

Aegis first became famous in Japan but not here in the Philippines. The band realized that, and wondered why so. They decided to come home and introduced themselves. Their songs became instant hits and the band got so popular.

My heart is full of energy and joy
But why just now met
When the two of us
Both can't be together anymore?

What a pity
Love that I can't have with you
Feelings are incomprehensible
My heart is screaming for you
But just not with each other
Why is it so late when we meet again?
If yesterday can be restored
I hope we don't fall apart
Memories of the past, never to be forgotten
What a pity
Former love offered to you
What a pity
Love that I can't have with you
I know we're both tied up
