Wow, that is mesmerizingly beautiful. I would trade my Panigale for it ANY day. Why doesn’t ducati hire people like you to design some new ideas for them. What a work of art. I love it
they did.. his name was Pierre Terblanche. the issue is that production costs and homologation waters designs down dramatically. i actually built a cafe bike off his sketches ua-cam.com/video/EYmF8Bex5DQ/v-deo.html
I'm a simple man, I see a build by Debolex, I click like Hands down one of my favorite builds of theirs, next to their Thruxton R you featured a while back
G’day and greetings from Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺 one of my favourite bikes I love the Atalian bikes I had a GSR 1000 very fast absolutely terrific in the corners. John
And here is the sad part, Ducati has all the base parts already available, no reconfiguration needed to duplicate this work of art. The simplicity compared to the v4’s is perfect. Of course Ducati would probably say, there is not enough money to be made manufacturing this. Now I wish deBolex would see this comment as well as others. Beautiful build and vision to see the possibility.
Beautiful bike and really beautifully engineered, the bodywork being second to none. I would love to see this bike with the lower fairing removed mainly because I like a more naked look seeing the air-cooled engine i.e. 900ss, Paul Smart etc. This is in no way a criticism. The 1 criticisms I do have is American speak for bike parts. Why do we want to speak American or is watching too much Orange County Choppers rubbing off on us. Triple clamps or triple trees for YOLKS (I cringed when the presenter said it). Hardtail for Rigid (choppers have hardtails), headlamp ears, sick etc 14 thumbs down? these guys must be helluva bike builders.
Beautiful bike. I ride a nearly identical 803 myself (desert sled), and the only issue I see is that these air cooled bikes run HOT, and I would be worried that the tight fitting fairing would cook the bike and the rider. Hopefully the open oil cooler is all that is needed, but the fact that the exhaust and all the cooling fins are blanketed, I wouldn't be surprised if it turns into a BBQ on a hot day.
Ducati should adopt all aspects and bodywork of this, add in some suspension and do a scrambler 1100 based limited edition cafe racer model. When they did the MH900E everyone flipped out selling them out online straight away, prices are still very strong for them .this is such a well executed build. Triumph tried it with the thruxton TFC but priced it too high..... ducati definitely has the brand history and attraction to make it work
That modern looking swingarm looks very out of place indeed. I think that's the only problem with that design. I guess he couldn't find a replacement easily, being a Scrambler base.
Naa I like it, it's supposed to be cafe but also current... I get what your saying but it's kinda what sets it aside with new to retro... each to their own 👍
ShortFatandStumpy FAT I agree with your thoughts. It makes you do a double take and realize that under that retro skin is a perfectly sorted and modern bike. No rattles or issues, no old underpowered engine, no wobbly chassis. That’s the good part about new Ducati’s... they’re very well made.
HEI DEBOLEX, u know what's next?!? Since there's a Scrambler 1100.... u gotta build now a Ducati 1079 Special!!! ;) Same styles, same fairings... Maybe a different colour combo? Yellow! :D
how they deal whit the heat generated in the bike? i have a scrambler and in a few minutes the body heat raise a loooot.... they must be install something to deal whit the heat.....
it makes me laugh how one guy in a shed can build a motorbike 10x more beautifull than ducati have ever done, and thats with millions of pounds, Massive factories and hundreds of staff members. An absolutley excuisite bike, probably the most beautifull bike i have ever seen, and all modern tech.
I like parts of this bike but, the modern power plant from a bland Ducati is not one of them. The tires and the swing arm as well just clash for me with the old styling elements
good grief , I thought it was glass , low and behold its alloy , pretty is too small a word , outstanding is better suited. So whats it costing , roughly.
You mean the non-GT; SportClassic 1000S? ... Except they stopped making those in 2009 and you can't get one for sensible money any more. ...We know, as we have three. I'd exchange any one of them for this tho. (Dutch)
I just can't get over how the English say Ducati. Listening to people say doo-cat-e is worse than hearing fingernails on a chalkboard... Yikes! Nice bike though.
This is probably the most beautiful bike I have ever seen...
What a synergy between the modern hardware and the classic race fairings and styling.
110% agree.
Spend a lot of my time in the 50:s and 60:s on bikes. This one is by far the most beautiful bike I have eve seen since the AJS 7R. Congratulations!
Ducati should hire this man, and put his idea into production.
Stunning bike. At first I thought the panels were plastic moulded, but aluminium, such craftsmanship to get them silky smooth. 👍
I assumed it would be fiberglass!

@@alexioflexio8818 That's mad, I really dig it

Every project you guys bring into this channel are totally outstanding, awesome piece of art I just love it
those guys do some sick builds, can't wait for this year's show
perfect blend of a race bike and a cafe racer, When I make enough Im hitting them up for my first custom build!
Possibly the best modern CR I’ve seen. That slender lower fairing is outstanding.
I think I've watched every Bike Shed video. Still haven't seen one I didn't like!
What a great bike, and what a lovely sound. Some people think noise and sound are the same thing but louder isn't always better.
I've got one of these!
It's a 1978 Ducati 900ss. Bought it new, still have it.

Love the name of your company! Great bikes too real nice job on them all.
another superb bike from debolex...
I wish you could feature the blue/silver Ducati that was epic!
Beautiful build!!

Not a fan of the bulbous lower fairing, but everything else looks great. Workmanship top shelf as usual from ‘deBolex.
A truly beautiful motorcycle!
The bike looks amazing a great job. Can I have one with a Dark Grey seat.
A stunning work of art!! 😎👍
Okay, wow, wow, wow. That's something special
It would make a great kit
This is incredible
Fucken Awesome. ..and great questions and answers from the two guys. Thank you.

My dream bike materialised
DREAM BIKE!!! PERFECT WORK
I would have put golden or black rims and a more retro styled set of tyres but other than that i love that bike!
Amazing effort
The colour of beauty!!!
Red.... Ducati 😍👏👏👏👏
Amazing!!!
Beatiful!!!
Gorgeous!!!
Congratulations buddy 😉👍
Best wishes ☺️
Stunning
simply great shape.compliments.
Needs a trellis swingarm. Otherwise, superb.
That modern looking swingarm looks very out of place indeed. I think that's the only problem with that design.
I guess he couldn't find a replacement easily, being a Scrambler base.
Agreed
Nah just anodized golden and gold ohlins forks, golden anodize those rims and she would be perfect

Lovely bike xden
Very nice!
Best ducati scrambler.
It kind of reminds me of kanedas bike from akira
Stunning that is.
Man. I'm I love with it.
That's awesome!! Wasn't there a video the bike shed had of his blue ducati??
There's a feature here thebikeshed.cc/debolex-ducati-749s/ with a vid at the bottom.
A work of art
Gorgeous!
Sounds good
HEI DEBOLEX, u know what's next?!? Since there's a Scrambler 1100.... u gotta build now a Ducati 1079 Special!!! ;)

Video seams dim in brightness
This is fucking insane, its very beautiful.
This bike really is 'De bollox'
Beautiful machine.
What hubs have they used ? Ducati ones are hard to come by.
I love this!
how they deal whit the heat generated in the bike? i have a scrambler and in a few minutes the body heat raise a loooot.... they must be install something to deal whit the heat.....
i love it and hate it at the same time
Beautiful ! enough said
perfect for red carpet the red beauty 😍😍
Really great build by engineers. The complete opposite of the bodgers from Orange County.
look so much better once brought outside
MasterPiece!!!!
Superbe 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

true craftmens

Super hot!!
If that swing arm had been colour matched it would add a real prototype feel to this bike
absolutely fucking gorgeous
Thats a Sexy looking bike!
Youl look like debolox riding this nice scoot
From Len............the "10"!!!! Nuf said I think.
now thats pretty.
this is unbelievable. the next question is of course: HOW MUCH?
£lots... Call Calum at deBolex for a quote.
👍🏼👏🏼
Wow......
I want to see his personal bike(s)
FKNG LOVE IT
Nice bike. Chicken strips ?
I like parts of this bike but, the modern power plant from a bland Ducati is not one of them. The tires and the swing arm as well just clash for me with the old styling elements
Its a Scrambler but not as we know it.
Pure bike porn heaven.
BOOM!!!
Wait. This was a Ducati Scrambler, the new one ?
彼は良い仕事してる。メーカーは再び この手の空冷エンジンで Cafe Racerタイプのmotorcycleを作るべきとも思う。
That "Debolex" is "The Bollocks.."
good grief , I thought it was glass , low and behold its alloy , pretty is too small a word , outstanding is better suited. So whats it costing , roughly.
It's like a curvy girl wearing a fitted bikini. I'm not sure how you fitted that on but I like it!
nice bike but the exhaust looks weird
it already exists ducati gt 1000 sports classic

Daddy likes.
Ducati are you listening?
Swing arm length is a bit too long for my taste, but amazing work.
Everything is nice, except the swingarm. Well, maybe its just me.
CAN I HAVE IT? PLZ
I like it without the lower bodywork. It would have been even nicer with a rear swingarm from a S2/S4 monster 1000
why don't you build that.
Dave S. I'm the brains not the brawn
The host needs to stop interrupting him.
I just can't get over how the English say Ducati. Listening to people say doo-cat-e is worse than hearing fingernails on a chalkboard... Yikes! Nice bike though.
