The "aborted a state's right to vote" line refers to the fact that Biden stepping down and Harris taking over essentially nullified the state primary process where Biden was confirmed as the nominee.
@@MitsuIsSleepy There were, but it was more or less a formality. Technically two other people gained delegates, which is more delegates than Kamala received (zero).
Awesome breakdown! Regarding the “state’s right to vote,” I think the meaning is twofold: 1. In primary season this Spring, the Democrats simply didn’t hold their usual primaries in a lot of states (including Florida). The delegates just went straight to Biden. 2. When Biden stepped down, almost every delegate immediately transferred to Harris without popular selection that normally happens in the primaries. At the end, it was Teddy Roosevelt! It’s the same actor/makeup from the Roosevelt v Churchill ERB a couple years ago. He’s known as the “Bull Moose,” named for the party he made after splitting from the Republicans in 1912.
7:28 as someone who was deployed in the Air Force during this, it was a train wreck. We sent millions of dollars in supplies to take care of the refugees brought over to different bases (and complained about the amount of food they got). And after each plane of refugees came back, they needed cleaned out with snow shovels and after the first trip had us buy trash cans and cat litter for the next flights…I’ll let you figure out why yourself
Kamala's first line, "I know you aren't all ears, but listen up close" was a clever bar because she was referring to Trump getting shot at and nicked in the ear. Get it? He's not "all ears". LOL
It is a clever bar but the delivery fell flat with the line coming shortly after Trumps "Get your mugshot and then your mug shot" bar. Trying to diss Trump for something that he already brought up and championed that it happened
The Afghanistan line was about more than just leaving hundreds of millions in equipment and weapons behind. There were ppl that fell off the planes from the air cos they were tying to leave and more importantly, American service members were killed due to a terrorist attack. As a veteran, that’s the part that pissed me off the most. The whole thing was a disaster, just like Joe’s presidency.
The moose wasn't random. After he was president Teddy Roosevelt created a political third party called the Bull Moose party to run as a third party candidate because he didn't like the job the president after him did and tanked his campaign. Having Teddy Roosevelt show up and ride off on a moose is basically endorsing the third party candidates
The "leaving rallies early" bar may not hit as hard as some of the crazy bangers dropped by Trump's character in this battle, but for me it was one of the best lines because of how the actual Trump reacted to that statement in the debate. Trump absolutely lost his shit when Kamala mentioned that on the debate stage, and the moderators had a really hard time getting Trump back on track because he got so assmad and spent 5 minutes rambling about how rallies are the biggest and no one leaves.

It takes more than a bullet to stop a bull moose but close

There were no primaries held anyways

Its a reference to the Dobbs decision which gives states the right to vote whether they allow abortion.

@@arrak_ for sure. it was pretty obvious who was to be the candidate, so they didnt try too much to have a discussion, lol
eyyy, clap it up for knowing it was Roosevelt !

Not counting Theodore, trump absolutely demolished her
You must have missed the debate
@@charlesmclaughlin3578 but he was talking about the rap battle
I’d say Harris won. It was pretty even up until Trump used “eating the dogs” where he gave her the battle.
Excluding Theo’s appearance
the fact that this election comes down to a criminal vs a prosecutor is so heavy handed that would make the eyes roll if it came from fiction
Lmao dope reaction homie! This was fun.

JD Vance lost this rap battle
Nah Trump slid on this 😂
Dude... F,kin VOTE!
Theodore Roosevelt there were two. Theodore and Franklin
I think Roosevelt won 😂
He was riding a moose because he founded the Bull Moose Party
His battle against Churchill is good

It's Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt, who created the Bull Moose Party. Then Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) was his nephew.

“Aborted a states right to vote” refers to them trying to take his name off the ballot in Colorado, you couldn’t even write him in.
I think it refers to states gaining the ability to decide whether or not they allow abortion after Roe v Wade was overturned
It's referring to Kamala being chosen by default as the candidate instead of being voted in
I like how a lot of Trump’s bars were him confidently stating something he famously lied about. They aren’t true, but they make for funny bars.
But he’s still gonna win the elections
