I love that they still went ahead and performed live despite knowing full well that sound mixers in TV stations will just about you butcher you with their uselessness. Good on Brad!
Great chap,, this Mr Paisley.. Besides being a songwriter and singer ,, he is a wicked guitarist.. I confess , I am a gear nut, and it is fun to see this all american country guy playing exclusively british vox amps and vox -style amps (Z-wreck) through british celestion speakers.. US Fender amps are great but to my ears harmonically less rich than their british sisters..
Makes me feel a whole lot better about my own singing/performance etc when hearing something this raw from someone who i admire so much. Aside from his always astounding tele solos, the rest could have passed for a garage band cover recorded on an iphone, His mastered album releases however are depressingly perfect....😢
we loooooooooove it , i live north england where theres no inner city, we have lots of folk music here and i suppose it isnt too dissimilar, but nothing beats brad paisleys lyrics imo
Z-wreck is a collaboration of the late Ken Fischer and Michael Zaite, Ken Fischer of Trainwreck circuits.. all original designs out of New Jersey.. furthermore Marshall began copying circuits of Fender.. particulary the Bassman which the jtm45 is an exact copy off.. Fischer designed his 3 models with the power amp stages being the main differences. The model called 'Rocket' has a sorta Voxac30 type of output stage. But it doesn't sound anything like a vox at all.
I didn't know this. Interesting indeed. Personally I love the Fender amps when it comes to clean but I noticed I use a lot of the simulated VOX amps in my amp modifier when I want a nice little "edge". With the fenders it's either on or off with the VOXes you have this slow ramp in distortion.
That's awesome Friend. I love English people so much. I wanna visit there so bad. Y'all are really cool. I'm of English descent so maybe that's why I'm so partial to y'all. There's actually a town there with my surname where my ancestors originated.
The rocky character of this tune gets lost because the lead guitar almost disappears whereas lead vocals are too much in the foreground. Maybe they've been in a hurry when doing the sound check.
That's so cool! Are you like from South England?LOL Just Kidding. Seriously, I always wondered what people in Europe and the UK think about Southern music and culture.

What is it with this room that amplifies the drums? Every performance the drums is right in your face.
Cool

@Brad Paisley if you are actually brad himself … do I need long fingernails to chicken pick or hybrid pick?
No this isn't a math equation!!!
Master of the telecaster!!!!! But every now and then he's off key with his singing. good that there still is some on-edited music.
🎧🎼🎵🎶♩😉
The mix was terrible, but I love the way Brad ended the song.

Brad, love you brother, but go back to BO.
I can not hear Randle's steel-guitar! That suck! I want to see this video with better sound!
What an awful awful mix! Tv studios really don't know anything about mixing music now do they :L
yeah i agree, his lyrics are so corny and cheesy it hurts.
This is grandpa music
no this is country music and we do!
Holy shit, I must be a 27 year old female grandpa then...why did nobody ever tell me??
