Not too long ago on one of the UA-cam channels I follow, a coyote hunter posted the best distress call was a simple squeaky pet toy. Basically, he takes the inside squeaky piece out after his dog chews enough of the toy. The cheapest perhaps most effctive coyote call. Anything that replicates a small animal in distress COULD do the job.
Wow, Rich you have more calls than anybody I know! Although I have my fair share of grunt tubes and have yet to call in a single deer! But I"m going to try this Javalina call during spring or winter coyote season. Loved seeing the AFR lunch bag on your back bench! Wishing you and Bungie a great deer hunting season!
I was visiting neighbor one evening who had all kinds of neat stuff, several miltary grade night vision optics, hightec spot lights and yes a predator sqwaller call. As we where standing outside after dark he began to display his toys. We had dawned the night vision googles and I picked up the sqwaller and began mimicking what I precived to be a rabbit being murdered. About 3 calling seqences later I saw movement to my left and looked that way. Wow there was all huge herd of deer walking past us. When I say herd, there was at least 50 or more. They where coming and looking for a fight with whoever was murdering that rabbit. The call you used and called the best predator call sounded just like the one I used. I agree about your choice.
I am getting out the old Jennings Devastator today I bought in 1986. It is accurately shooting 2117s with 190 grain Simmons broadheads total weight 550 grains. Getting ready to experiment with Uninock bushings and Nocturnal lighted Nocks if they will fit the fat string. Lighted nocks are a must for filming arrow flight. Using Tactacam 5.0 1080p at 120 frames is amazing. Saw a video on frame rates awhile back. It said that when running video at slow mo, 24 frames in slow motion is the least you want to go to get seemless, non-jerky video. 1/5th video speed, or 20 percent of 120 frames is 24 and works great.
Saw a magazine article years ago of a guy predator hunting with a squeezable baby doll that made a crying sound. It showed pictures of him in the woods holding the naked plastic doll and it worked! Squeaky pet toys have also been used successfully.

That was pretty cool thought that the Javelina call was a Rabbit in Distress . Enjoyed it Rich

How cool is that?
Javelina call sounds similar to the Catnip, also by primos.

The call he said was a duck, I thought was a doe bleat
As a "newer" archery hunter (crossbow)
I keep wondering what the best broadhead is to use 🤔
I'd love to know what your favorite to use is and why 🙏🏻
Tons of good options, I like mechanicals like Rage and now Swhacker it looks like
@@Deathbybunjie great thank you!
Lol. Good stuff
You have proved... A sucker born every minute.
haha (for the humor impaired).
😄 I hear that
Your new video was removed bout sighting in a new scope said violation of guidelines
UA-cam robots thought I was livestreaming about firearms, geez. go figure.
@@Deathbybunjie so what they have firearm videos on here from different people that doesn't make any sense
@@gregstephens8386 livestreams are treated differently from other videos I guess
Learn to shoot a bow and actually hunt!!

Steven must be a sad person!!
Came to a channel about crossbow hunting and tries to throw shade...sad sad person
@Craig Fowler says the one with zero subscribers 🤣
@@stevenm2062 But he's not the one talking smack about a channel that actually shows successful hunting videos.
