Btw, WD40 bites the rust. It does not lubricate. Apply grease after that to the hinges.
The last tip on the clothes hanger - the pointed end may pose a danger in event the passenger drops something and would like to pick it up from the floor...

WD-40 does not last very long on the door hinge you need real oil
WD-40 usually lasts longer than my car lasts un-crashed for total ;)
Marvel mystery oil- it's been around for 100 yrs, ask any old timer works at cleaning inside engine, transmission lubrication, anywhere, the polymers make it last years, door hinges, try once,
White Lithium Grease works best, lasts longest, doesn’t splatter.

Never treat door hinges with grease and limiter too!!! You will drag in even more dirt and screw backlash. Clean as much as possible and rub with hard soap
