Hey Nick, if my knowledge serves me correctly, wasn’t Chicago 1945 recorded a week after thriller as well? Now, if my reason is correct, if that is true, I would imagine you did. It include that on this list because it has more of that Smooth Criminal al Capone Gangster type vibe to it that doesn’t fit the thriller era? Wanted to see what you thought on that. Love the unreleased videos keep them coming. :)
Ok so here is my take on Chicago 1945 they say it was done a week after thriller yes but then reworked in 1986 for the bad album with added beats but still the original vocals. I could have included it yes but I get more bad Era vibes listening to chicago 1945 witch is why I did not include it! Dream away sounds more Thriller Era then anything else and plus like I said it was reworked in 1986! Thanks for the comment!
@@TheMJScientist Chicago, 1945 is my favorite all-time Michael Jackson song. I know that the song itself isn’t like his greatest song anyone would ever put a label on like that. But it’s more along the lines of how it made me feel and how excited I got when I heard it for the first time in the seminar recording. that literally 40 years later there was a Michael track that was that good that hadn’t been even heard of by anyone it almost like took me back in time and seeing the UA-cam fan made videos, and once the studio quality version got leaked man it was just incredible to hear. that song has a lot of potential to kickstart MJ back into the spotlight if they wanted to do something with it. It’s just amazing to see like that that are still in the vault that have yet to be heard by the masses but that song man just re-energized me for sure.
@@diaz3mb I highly agree with you! Chicago 1945 is a excellent rare MJ song I hope Steve the producer releases the song on new album with dream away...they dont need to be remixed keep the originals it sounds to good!
There is another song you forgot which is the spice of life is the alternate version of baby be mine but was given to this group called the manhattan transfer …..you should give it a listen it’s really good
