I want braces so bad, not want I need them. But I don't wanna pressure or ask my parents because they're so expensive, and I'm off to high school next year and I'm scared I may get mean comments about my teeth I already have throughout my whole childhood but I wanna end it.

my parents didn’t have the money for it so now as an adult i’ve gotten a job and i’ve been paying for my own braces and i actually have the last bite and hated my smile cause of it. thi comment was posted a year ago so i hope you eventually got what u wanted :))

The last picture Palatal and Buccal X Bite is what's happening to my teeth right noe after 3 months of getting braces. I wonder what's the before, the process, and after looks like. I can't find any videos or research about this

I have a crossbite and tmd...my right side of mandible bone in tmj area rise when I open my mouth ...also i feel pain on on that joint....do I need surgery??

Hi Takia, potentially it is treatable in adults, however the question should be “what benefit would there be in correcting a crossbite in adults”
If there is damage to teeth or gums, or parafunction then treatment may be appropriate. We’re down here in Palmerston North, NZ.
@@theorthodonticcentre thank you for answering my questions their is no damage but it does make the symmetry of my face off center & it makes me a mouth breather and I get terrible headaches as well so I’d definitely like to see if it could possibly help 🤷🏽♀️
@@theorthodonticcentre crossbite causes jaw, neck and shoulder pain, because of tense overworked muscles. That’s why adults want their crossbite fixed.

My orthodontist said I have a severe class iii, but I've experienced no pain and don't have any facial asymmetry that are prominent and not to mention that I wanted to put on Invisalign only because of cosmetic reasons. She recommended surgery, but I'm thinking about just straightening my teeth without fixing the crossbite. However, will the expander be an option for me if I'm of 22 years old? Because if it is, it's a game changer.
Definitely think you should consider the expander
I have invisalign now and because the lower part of my teeth are up too high and over my teeth scrape up against each other and my bite is off. I'd say go for full alignment. Its going to take some time though.
i have a new tooth which grew while my old tooth isn't out yet and now it pushes the old tooth to the side and I couldn't get it out what should I do? I also have an unilateral posterior x-bite like case 4 in the front that makes my lips asymmetrical. I don't want to ask my parents for braces or anything because it's expensive and am planning to get one once I grow up and get a job so that I can pay for it myself.. and right now I'm still a teenager. will my teeth get fixed? will it be expensive? I asked my mother once but she said it was pretty.. but it really wasn't and I'm the most insecure about my teeth.

And after searching I realized that it was the reason of my asymmetrical face
It changes the face and make it uncomfortable for the jaw and might make problems in the future

Im 24 and i just got braces to fix crossbite. One side of my face is bigger because i always chewed on that side of face. If i start chew with the other side can i fix the asymmetry?
Hi Xhoel, almost certainly no. There will have been a degree of compensation in your facial asymmetry that can’t be undone. But all humans have minor to moderate asymmetry so you are in good company.
