- Traditionally the last entry in a circus parade, this old Gentry Bros. steam calliope belts out familiar tunes in Peru's annual Circus City Festival procession. Video also features selection of restored circus wagons, bands and floats from the July 20, 2013, event in Peru, Indiana.
thanks for sharing brings back chikdhood memories
The best I have ever heard this calliope sound ever! Thanks for sharing with us out here in youtube land!
I cant express how out of tune those whistles are, had to shut it off because it was so painful to listen to. get properly tuned whistles and this would sound amazing!
Great video, Lane. Thanks for sharing.
it would be cool to go there one day:P Im only 25 and i been to carnivals and the circus but never before have i been to an old fashioned carnival/circus combo like you see in the old fashioned post cards. for the most part now carnivals and circuses are two separate things now have little to nothing to do with each other and happen at separate times of the year even. Also the ciruses i been to were inside a giant concrete building oppose to a tent. So an event like this would be very unique:P Like a step back in time...
Nice vídeo , saludos desde Lima, Perú .
“We’ll sing the Butler War Song,
We’ll give a fighting cry...”
this is so hilariously out of tune
