That's great. I've been thinking of making one of these for a fake alarm for my work van. Came back to support...added to my awesomesauce playlist and clicked the bell
..is it possible the bc547 needs a base resistor? Its pretty clear that the emitter is on the right of the flat face, the collector on the left according to the spec sheet. Thank you in advance for any advice you have.
I have been messing with this and a different circuit design for more than an hour. The ONLY way I can get it to flash is if I physically touch the base leg (middle pin) on the transistor. If I let go then it stops flashing. Any ideas?
..I have been wrestling with trying to understand Why I can not get your circuit to work. I have watched over and over, checked the connections and am just bamboozled. I am using 12vDC and a 5mm LED. A 330uf 25v capacitor and the bc547. I am stumped.
and resistors values that you are using? dont forget thats a combination very important between capacitors and resistors or your circuit never will work
@@NunoFlyer First,..thankyou for replying. I am using the 150R and 2.2K resistors as configured in your wiring diagram. Thanks again for getting back to me,..have no idea what I have done different. I too used a breadboard as a testing means before hoping to use this circuit for a project.

Thanks for your appreciation, I love it.
I love your nature videos.

I came here after watched this project on instructables, it seems simple, I'm gonna try it soon😍😍
amigo,para uma voltagem de duas çelulas ( 8v ) a resistência e a mesma ? Obrigado

Do u have the circuit diagram?
Hello,
Yes, you can see that on the video.
Regards
Can i use any transistor
You need pay attention to NPN transistor.
13001 npn ?
Thanks !!!for shareee
Awesome share.. Nice video 👍👍
very nice sharing, mate. happy weekend :)
Thanks my friend.
Can we add 12v to this circuit
Yes.

..and if it helps, I only experience a short flash of the LED when I shut the power off. Any help or direction would be appreciated.

Are you following the right cap specs?
Is that what they use on a 747 you can probably see that from 10 nautical miles
What to do if I want to increase the duration
Change the value of the capacitor.
@@NunoFlyer thanks man, I'll try it today btw wishing you a very happy new year😇❤️
Just a little question why don't you make a list of all used part into you video now it's really difficult to see what you are using
If you can watch the full video you will find it ;)
..how about a diagram,..can not see for the tightness of your hard wiring.
and how about watch the full video? hein?

..forgive,..I hastily became frustrated trying to eye ball where the connections where on the breadboard.
I stand corrected!

@@tomference4618 Whats going wrong with your circuit? bc547 looks good? did you try another one?
Did you checked the minute 3:38?
@@NunoFlyer ..yes, I tried two other 547's. I do not know what you mean by 3:38.

Please add circuit diagram
You can see the circuit on the video ;)
“Simple”
Tried it in a simulator. It doesnt work.
Simulator doesnot work on reverse bias
