The added noise and effects obscures one important fact with the Widowmaker basketball clip - McCree just hit his Deadeye when she sniped him, making it even worse. Or better. Depending on whether or not you were that McCree.

I've killed several enemy Widowmakers like that myself. A smart player would've set up a venom mine to be notified of when and where an enemy is approaching--but every once in a while you'll get a dummy who is too busy scoping to pay attention to his/her surroundings.
