      Thanks for such a nice comment! I am sure it might gain more views over time, the algorithm just doesn't like to pick them up apart from my quadratic sequences video that it loves! (Even though that's old and actually not very good!)

      @@1stClassMaths if you dont mind me asking, on example 2 finding a missing side i put in the exact same thing on my calculator and i got 29.5847775 whereas you got 29.60732007. Am i doing something wrong?

    • @1stClassMaths

      @@EmilyHenshaw-r9y Hi thanks for this. You are correct. When I make these animations I copy and paste text boxes. In this one I have copied the "0732007" from somewhere else and forgot to change it! I have added a note to the description. (The answer is still 29.6 obviously).

    It is this kind of videos that empowers alot ,that face prejudice and mockery among other learners for being slow and needing demonstration it is a place where one slowly work through to victory ♥️☺️ i am one of them

    I don't have time to watch the whole video now but I will leave a comment to help other viewers of your video avoid potential confusion. What you call the "sine rule" is usually called the law of sines. There is a law of cosines and a law of tangents as well.

    • @1stClassMaths

      Hello from the United Kingdom where it is called "the sine rule". This video is designed for students studying GCSE maths and as such nobody will understand or use "the law of sines" I am afraid.

    12:13 "From the diagram given, X is an obtuse angle and the acute angle must be rejected." If no diagram is given, then both cases must be described.

    • @1stClassMaths
      @1stClassMaths  7 місяців тому

      I don't understand if this is a query or not? Exam questions will almost always avoid ambiguity. You also cannot an angle is obtuse because "it looks like it from the diagram".

      Your calculator probably needs resetting as it will be in radians or gradians rather than degrees.
