Pound for pound, I think Tiffany Evans is right up there with the greatest ever (Whitney, Patti, Mariah, etc.). However, she's a prime example of why it takes more than just an amazing voice to achieve substantial commercial success in the music industry. Like you mentioned, she should probably focus on releasing consistent, quality music, instead of trying to hit home runs every single time. Also, this may be the wrong era for her. I think she would've been way more successful in the 90s, where her vocal talent would've been more useful. Outstanding video, by the way!!!
Thank you! I agree she would've done better had she came out earlier where vocal talent took priority, but it's not too late for her to get on the right track. Jazmine Sullivan is a good example for her to follow.
@@OurMusicIsOurs Absolutely. Tiffany is only 29, and she has tons of time left. Yea, I watched your Jazmine Sullivan video yesterday, which was also dope, and she is another young artist with loads of talent. I'm excited to see what they both have in store for us in the future.
It’s fucked how parents used their kids as bread winners just cause they be down on their luck or be mad cause they can’t be as successful in their careers so they have to force it on their kids then just used them up until the money runs out. That goes for any child star in the industry whether they had success or quite little of it
When I heard her on T- Pain’s album (Oblivion was amazing by the way) I thought that was hinting at a comeback and I was excited. I find the idea of her doing music with her current boo Jawan is a weird combo. And they just had a baby a few months ago, but I don’t think we’re getting a project anytime soon. I’m sorry but her best bet is to get on the next season of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta to gain some traction/ attention.
@@OurMusicIsOurs you missed her UA-cam and ustream uploads, her court case (probably sealed and they won that’s why) against her label at 12 I believe they wouldn’t let her out her contract even though she was a minor when she signed like jojo, she and others like teyona Taylor (don’t know how to spell her name) was taking up for Chris brown at the time that’s why Rihanna said what she said about her and many others Tiffany was just the most talked about, she was 13/14 at the time of promise ring they marketed her as a 16 year old, she graduated high school at age 13 (she’s super smart) and I actually think she grew up way too fast and she didn’t really have much of a childhood basically... It was a lot of BS people surrounding this girl than we know, because her best songs were unreleased/leaked songs like no show, watch this, and many others that were excellent bodies of work...
What's your favorite Tiffany Evans song?
@Bam Bam Good one! I think mine is "Favorite Broken Heart" or "Promise Ring."
Her voice. Is so crystal clear. I just wish she had a good mentor or something. 😩
