- Welcome to pt. 2 of the "Who Is Masego?" series. If you haven't watched part 1, you should go check it out! We start off discussing how Masego used the Pink Polo project to introduce Uncle Sego, his alter ego, who appears in the "Girls That Dance" video. He uses Uncle Sego to make a nod to The French Prince of Bel-Air. Elements like this that show his personality and influences help to establish a duality of him being both old and young. The rest of this video focuses on his collaboration with GoldLink, move to LA, Loose Thoughts, JBL campaign with Quincy Jones, and his album Lady Lady. We end by discussing our thoughts on Masego's future!

Masego is a talented contemporary R&B singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist best known for his Pink Polo mixtape, playing saxophone on "Up Late" by Ari Lennox, which he also executive produced, and singles like "Tadow" and "Navajo." Masego is a true testament to the power of the mind. With a motivation to impress women, he's learned more than 20 instruments without ever having any formal music training or knowing how to read music. Much like Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson, Masego is a child prodigy. He showed promise at a young age and put in his 10,000+ hours into mastering his craft. He even invented a genre, TrapHouseJazz. Not only is he talented, but he's charismatic, highly likable, and comedic.
