BEAUTY!!!! Faure's artistry, the chapel, historical surroundings, sound of the organ!!! And of course Jonathan and Tom who bring us it all !!! Thanks for looking back into 2024 once again. Sending very warm greetings up to you 🌹🌹🌹.
Thank you once again, Jonathan. That was a lovely arrangement of one of my favorite choral works. And thank you also, Tom, for your always stunning videography.
One of Faure's most beautiful works wonderfully transcribed for organ solo. Jonathan, you are a master of your art. And what a gorgeous chapel! Thank you, Tom, for the videography!
An angelic, prayerful piece befitting this beautiful chapel. Love how the sound builds to awaken us. (The lyrics at matins are quite inspiring.) Thanks for sharing this uplifting music. 😇😇💐💐🎹🎶
Beautifil music performed in what may the most beautiful chapel of all your performances. So much detail and so much pure beauty. The sounds coming from what is seemingly a small pipe organ truly give new thought on this amazing instrument. Thank you so much Jonathan for the beautiful music and Tom for the amazing camer capture!
Beautiful, your repertoire is so wide & varied Jonathan! Wonderfully shot video Tom, the interior is magnificent & the organ sounds amazing. We are being treated to a lot of glorious music this month! Thank you both so much. xx
If I were to visit this Holy place, I wouldn't know where to look first. Add to that the magnificent music, by Jonathan, and images captured by Tom all of which lends itself to a wonderful experience. xx
Everything is wonderful: Jonathan's incredibly beautiful performance, Tom's wonderful video showing us a beautiful Chapel and the wonderful sound of this organ! I loved it all! Thank you both for another beautiful video! ❤❤🥰❤❤
Этот Собор такой удивительный ! Я смотрела затаив дыхание !!! Кажется я догадываюсь какой это архитектор ...иногда я читаю о нем статьи в Pinterest . Мне он очень нравиться ! ❤
Yes it is a very beautiful chapel. The original was designed by the architect Augustus Pugin in 1848 and then the chapel was extensively remodelled and enlarged by architect Archibald Dunn in 1884. I note that you referred to this as a Cathedral - it is not a cathedral even though its a large grand church. The term Cathedral is reserved for a church that is the seat of a bishop in his diocese. Cathedrals are usually a large and very grand church but does not have to be. This church is called a chapel as it was the church of a college - in this case a Roman Catholic seminary for the training of priests.
Just beautiful. One of my favorite pieces. Played perfectly from start to finsh. Excellent musicanship, a genius at the keyboard. Wish you would come to the states for a concert tour.
Jonathan, one of my favorites, indeed; love the registrations. And Tom, nice videography. 👍

It is not very often that you see a bell diapason in the façade of an organ.
Indeed I had not looked closely and there they are!
