laying the groundwork for further infringement by executive order.
They've been saying that for a few years now, it's always been groundwork and part of a plan.

Yes. The US Surgeon General used the "guns are the greatest cause of death for kids" talking point. That is rubbish because anyone with half a brain knows abortion is the greatest cause of death for pre-born to 18 years of age. That stats used by the US SG include 19-year-olds. Minus the gangbangers from 14 - 19, what are the real numbers?
They will probably use "gun violence" as a means to weaponise the Health industry to basically make gun owners labeled as "Mentally unstable" individuals. They'll get paid-for Psychologists to write up dissertations and essays, articles which'll be featured in major publications (newspapers, etc) and will gaslight all law-abiding firearm owners by stating that ANYONE who believes they have a God-given right to keep and bear arms is exhibiting a "Mental disorder".
We can then expect folks to be forced-prescribed medication as a condition to retain employment, maybe folks will get fired by being deemed "unstable/unfit for the job", things like that!
Maybe some will have certain services denied to them as well. The avalanche of repercussions for this sort of rhetoric could be bad.
The Surgeon General should be fired, but we know he won't be. He should be censured by Congress, but we've elected in a bunch of spineless Politicians, so that's a no-go.
Probably a mix of putting in elected Representatives that are pro-Constitution (pro-2A especially), and people being more civically inclined to run for public office at the Local and State level would be a good start. Maybe organising and putting up petitions to force current-elected Rep's to push the issue in Congress. I really can't say what would be the best course of action here. Something does have to be done to nip this agenda in the bud before it can set roots!
They already said they was going to do this. They know they can with zero fight, and no pushback. In courts maybe. Those are useless. I'm still amazed at what we are putting up with. I'm only one person. I'm all alone in how this should be handled. It's so bad, I get called "fed" and "glowie" by way lesser "men".
We’ve had community meetings regarding shootings or as they call it “gun violence”. I’ve pointed out the facts regarding the shootings and have instantly been labeled a racist. How do you fix a problem when you refuse to recognize the root of the problem?

There is a big difference between a plannedass event and a confrontational event between people who lack a spine, and are so emotionally fragile that they feel the urge to kill over hurt fee fees, or a sense of disrespect. It's as simple to separate the events as it is to separate Dodge owners from Chevrolet owners.

When I saw "Las Vegas Shooting" I thought this was going to be about the 1917 actual mass shooting, where a dead patsy & a bump stock were blamed for the murders of at least 58 people. That event still needs explanation, as the only stories about it are filled with more holes than the victims, and there's no way any one person with a bump stock could've committed that crime. RIP to the victims of both this crime and that one.

Did the recent FBI Crime statistics not show that gun violence was the least of the U.S.'s problems? We know that "gun violence" as a statistic incorporates elements like suicide by firearm, which arguably accounts for a large percentage of the "Gun Violence" stat.
I've written it elsewhere but it's obvious that the Surgeon General (whose office falls under the Dept. of Human and Health Services and is in NO way a military role, although there is a same-named role in the U.S. Army) is planning to label ANY law-abiding Firearm owners as being "Mentally unstable" while ALSO declaring (just you watch!) that anyone who believes that they have a God-given right to keep and bear arms will be labeled as having a "Mental disorder"..
It will be legalised as a policy (no different than how the ATF pushes out "rules" and tries to enforce them) and will maybe lead to Citizens getting permits revoked, maybe forced to take medication as a condition to retain employment, and a whole slew of other sinister things.
It'll also be used in conjunction with Red Flag laws to disarm individuals with no history of violence or mental disorders.
Maybe that whole supposed conspiracy of Hillary in 2016 working with Walmart to build concentration camps for Citizens for "re-education" purposes may have some legs to it lol. I could see somethin like that happening but this time for 2A supporters (which already is a dumb category, by dint of being an American Citizen, we already should be 2A supporters - much less Constitution supporters).
I feel ashamed for sharing the same race as this Surgeon General. I grew up on McDonald's Happy Meals and G.I. Joe Cartoons as a kid, this dude looks like he grew up on My Little Pony and Soy Milk.

Been that way for a number of years. Only "The Strip" and a block or two either side was every clean. Go a couple blocks and it's a third world country.
Not to mention they’re not hating on hand guns nearly as much as they’re trying to destroy what they call “assault weapons” even though by their logic handguns are used in most of the mass shootings so there’s another way that they want it both ways
They've spent so much time laying the groundwork to confuse people into believing AR-15s are machine guns that they are the easier target now. Don't worry, once they get the scary black rifles banned they'll immediately pivot back to handguns. In the end their goal is total disarmament so the order they do it in doesn't matter much.

We just had what they are calling a mass shooting close to where I live in Arkansas.
4 dead and 15 injured including 2 officers at the Mad Butcher grocery store in Fordyce Arkansas. So far it don't say why Travis Posey done the shooting but I'm sure he had mental problems like everyone else that does this stuff. Right after seeing this in the newspaper I heard the surgeon general on the radio saying gun violence is a public health emergency that is the biggest killer of little kids and teenagers.
