In this series we interview Aurovilians about their personal experiences with the Matrimandir in Auroville. Today it is Elene. She came to Auroville as a fifteen year old teenager in 2004. That was the first time Elene stepped out of her country, Ethiopia. When she entered the inner sanctum of the Matrimandir for the first time, she was disappointed to find an empty room. But then quickly her disappointment transformed to make Elene feel like being on the moon…
This Web series is a human experiment, looking into how the aurovilliens relate to the soul of Auroville - the Matrimandir. Hoping that this is the common ground for human unity. The dream is to interview all citizens of Auroville.
