THAT WAS MEEEE! Thanks for the recommendations mate I'm already ordering and I totally agree with clown in a cornfield 😁👍 Have you ready My best friends exorcism? I loved that one and love the cover art for it 😁👍
Yay! Thanks for the idea! I was so thrilled to make this video. And I also ADORE My Best Friend's Exorcism. It's my favorite thing Hendrix has ever written.
I really like Candy Cain Kills. I’ve actually enjoyed all of the Killer VHS series books so far. They’re quick reads with a good amount of gore, humor, and nostalgia.
Great recs for the best time of the year! 🎃👻I am currently reading All Hallows Dead by Bryan Smith. It's a brutal Halloween slasher and I'm loving it so far. 🖤🔪
My Heart is a Chainsaw is my favorite horror novel. It's perfect. Jade Daniels is my Final Girl, as the T-shirt I own says. Don't Fear the Reaper is amazing as well. Almost nearly perfect. The Angel of Indian Lake is not as good as Chainsaw and Reaper, but I love it anyway. I've read all 3 numerous times and am always looking forward to reading them again. They're my comfort reads.
Thank you for clarifying the YA situation on Clown in a Cornfield. You may have done that in the vid of you talking about the third one (maybe) and I just didn't catch it. When I popped into a B&N on the way home from a work trip I was surprised to see them and almost picked up the first one until I realized it was in a YA section. Did get The Last House on a Needless Street and The Troop buy one get one half off that day. Next time I pass that way I will stop in and pick it up.
I truly cannot figure out why it's considered YA. I honestly do not enjoy YA usually because of all the younger aimed tropes. But this book is just a true to form slasher. It should absolutely be in the adult fiction section. haha Also, Needless Street is great.
I read one stephen graham jones book by chance because i saw the audiobook, and the title made me interested. (The babysitter lives). The book scared the sh outta me. His writing style is very descriptive and wordy, and then he just waxes poetic for pages at a time for certain portions. It reminds me of how Stephen King writes bc theyre both very into setting the mood and logistics of the space. Sometimes im a fan of that and sometimes i have no patience for it. If i ever read him its gonna be through an audiobook lol.
@@violetprynne: Really? Amazing, you come through as very confident and extremely intelligent. At first, (when I started watching your channel) I thought you were an editor or worked at a publishing company or something.

I just ordered the sequel AND I just finished Melon Head Mayhem! Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

I have not heard of that, but that sounds awesome!
My Heart is a Chainsaw is my FAVORITE! Loved it. Even though I think book 3 is the weakest I still loved the whole ride.

Jade Daniels is the best! I really hope we get a movie one day so we can have Jade be a true horror slasher final girl. :D

I feel like a crazy person for not loving My Heart is a Chainsaw, but man that Triana book sounds right up my alley
Stephen Graham Jones is definitely a tricky author to get into. I feel like some people just truly love or hate Chainsaw with no in between.
Yes! I need to add all of these asap to my TBR!
🤗🤗🤗

He can be so overly wordy sometimes. I really love Chainsaw, but some of his other novels (like Mongrels) were so difficult for me to get through.
❤❤❤❤❤ love this
Thank you!
Thanks for the reviews. You say “really” a lot. Is that a new trend? Trends aren’t something I am current on.
Not a trend lol
No, just a crutch I use when speaking. It's definitely a bad habit, but I free style my videos without notes or structure, so I tend to say it a lot.
