    Such a shame that ya had to steer away from UA-cam as it lost its style to the adds and large brand sponsors. Glad to see you have retained your integrity and done something else 🖒

    Hey Samurai, I've really enjoyed your run here on youtube. I can't afford to support your new school, and most of what you do I can figure out just from watching you do it, and from my own experience as a carpenter/woodworker. Best of luck in your new endeavor, and blessings on you and your lovely family. I know I'll continue to browse your archives, to remember what a great guy and how skilled and creative an artisan you are... At least you'll get that penny or two for each time I view one of your vids. Thanks for everything!

    Can you do a video or series of videos on joints? Which ones do you prefer and why? When would you use them rather than other joints? Where are they designed to receive stress; from the top, or side to side?
    I've know of the standard joinery technics but I never heard of a scarf joint until I saw you use it. Also, you use joints in a way I don't normally see, and you use them together in a project.

      the majoraty of the content that he will be crating from now on will be private or just focused on little projects for people to try to replicate. However the majoraty of his viewers come here to see the amazing and big projects that he does. I dont think he realizes that 90% of the people dont want to know of tho build little things, but just want to see he build his own stuff.

    Hey very nice work, beautiful idea and amazing craftsmanship. If I'm not mistaken you did not glue several pieces of oak wood together to get those boards for the shelf. I was wondering if you don't risk dwindling and swelling of the wood especially in an humid environment like your bath? Have you found another solution to avoid this?

    • @raphaelbreuer3934
      @raphaelbreuer3934 5 років тому

      Just saw this other video of yours, and I have to say I saw pieces of furniture where the wood did change. Maybe not only because of humidity and temperature but also because boards were not glued and worked along the grain, forming an hump.
