Today is Sunday, Oct. 24, here in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. I’ve just found your website. Your knitting is lovely and I’m looking forward to seeing more of you and your knitting😊
I love your idea of sticking a project that's gone wrong into a pillowcase never to be seen again, honestly that sounds cathartic to me!! 😂 I probably wouldn't finish a project like that, even though ideally I would be someone who would! A cushion cover sounds like a good idea.
Yeah, I don't think it's going to get done. Now I just have to decide how much of the wool is worth frogging and saving....but let's be real, it's going to be used as stuffing!
Hi Liz So, your Kate Davies jumper, you have so many projects and life is short. If it weren't for the moth holes I would say continue but moth holes. frog it and save the wool. Cast on something lovely when you are ready to face the wool. Maybe freeze it first. Good luck with your decision. I couldn't hope with so many projects but I am a multicrafter. I also have a drum carder, I hope you mean a table top one. That is what I have. It's still not that fast.. We are coming up to summer now. I am looking forward to more natural dyeing but probably more on fabric, for my quilting. And you are definitely inspiring me to do more, so I am going to join a group. I wish you well. It's so lovely to see your life, so different from mine and yet so similar. Hope you get you lovely sunsets in your patio soon. Take care, Catherine
Thanks, Cathrine! I did get a table top drum carder. I haven't been able to try it yet - I need to scour my fleece first. I do hope you share some of your natural dyes on your channel - I've started watching you all and I feel like if we didn't live thousands of miles apart we'd have a really funny, good time together! ;)
@@pyramiddyeworks9746 well you know Liz Santa Fe, Taos all that are is on my radar and I think you would love New Zealand! I have so much yarn dyed that I am not going to do more but I hope to dye more fabric. I did some yesterday. I have also almost decided to get an indigo cat going. I did it successfully once a long time ago and got some great colours. I dyed some linen for embroidery yesterday. Nothing exciting just avocado skins. Anyway. I will continue to enjoy your adventures. Take care Catherine
That's a good point. I swear I've done this two or three times now that I pull it out right before fall and put 1 more stripe on that sleeve and then put it away again. Time to cut my losses.
Hi, use the moth eaten sweater as a cushion/ pillow cover. Unravel the one arm, stitch all openings. The colours seem to match your decor (as you described). Thank you for sharing your makes.
You are almost done with the color work sweater. Lovely.

Ahhh you said my name! I'm sat in the kitchen at my laptop and almost fell off my chair 😅

I think you should turn the unfinished moth hole striped sweater into a pillow! It’s so beautiful!

Wow! Unbelievable, your colorwork sweater! Never did a knit like that. I'm deeply impressed.
Thank you, Sharon! I've knit a lot of other colorwork sweaters and accessories that didn't look so good! It's a process. :)
Witam 🤗 ładne te sweterki .Jestem na etapie prania, suszenia alpaki potem zgręplowac upsząść na kołowrotku. No i zrobić sweterek.
Throw the moth eaten sweater. If you have lived without it for 3 years, then it’s obviously not a priority for you. Jinny
