What I love most in your videos is that they give a lot of motivation and show how much there is to learn, how many variations of each exercise are possible. I was just "flying around" since I started a bit more than 2 years ago and that's a lot of fun. But since I am flying your very concrete training exercises, I feel more progress. Still a long way to smooth backwards flying, but now I know where to start!
@@rchelicopter Thank you so much! I a flying slow and not very round backwards circles and figure 8ts. I had some serious orientation problesms until another pitot gave me the simple advise for upright backwards flying "sticks together - sticks apart from eachother". That helped soo much. Now I am working on getting the speed and altitude more constant and getting the circles much more round!
One of the main things about these exercises is PITCH CONTROL, Maintaining PITCH control isn't easy, once that is establish this exercise becomes easier.
I think we all feel like that sometimes :D It's nice to hear you might have a few gaps, but I think with your flying there's nothing in there you couldn't do within a few warmup flights. I love your videos BTW, very stylish!
What heli are you running here? It looks incredibly snooth. Are you in normal mode or stunt mode 1 or 2? Head speed sounds very low so I'm assuming you're in normal mode.
This is my Specter NME V2. My low headspeeds is 1600, so this would have been the next one up at 2100. It's just a super smooth, I think VBar vibration level is down below 400.
@@rchelicopter @rchelicopter just getting back into the hobby after a 10 year absence. Have two small Align Trex kits from back then. Just ordered two Goosky kits, their S1 and S2. From what I can tell it's best bang for buck for small form factor heli's. But will have to check out Specter. Looks very impressive.
@@rchelicopter also regarding your setup were you outside of normal mode, meaning the collective is full negative pitch at bottom stick, 0 pitch at mid stick, and full positive pitch at top stick?
@@rchelicopter thank you for answering my questions. I am torn between NeXt and Heli-x sim. What would you purchase if you did it over again? I am primarily flying Goosky and Align at this time and want to fly these models in the sim. My transmitter is a Spektrum DX9.

That's pretty cool. I don't think I was anywhere near backwards after 2 years back in the day 😀

I love to see real flight like this than simulations, looking forward to seeing great video like this thanks
Thanks again Rich, these are gold
My pleasure!
Finally can fly around inverted and this Playlist really structured my sessions. Thank you!
Glad it's helping. Thanks so much!
Keep up your videos, it's super interesting :)

Yeah, the club is great, a bit exposed to the weather sometimes, but the facilities and views are fantastic.

My pleasure!
Interesting video as always, there are things listed here that I've never tried so this has given me some things to work on.
That's exactly what I'm here for. To give you more work! 😄

4:20. No no no. Inverted auto = descending inverted all the way down. Then flare/flip to upright!!!
Keep on.
I have 2 helicopters and I love fly ❤
Great to hear. What are they?
Now i feel like a total beginner although flying 14y… 😢

@@LichaelMewis All of my flight modes are +- 13, even flight mode 1, but yes, I was in the 2nd flight mode or bank.
