This relay is not specific to the kayo but will work just fine and a cheap cost to avoid ordering through a dealer www.amazon.com/Solenoid-Sportrax-Fourtrax-2006-2009-1990-1997/dp/B07RN6WHZ6/ref=mp_s_a_1_12?dchild=1&keywords=atv+90+starter+relay&qid=1633182564&sr=8-12
Hey man, I'm back. After a couple of weeks and 500+ miles, I've got a few more questions for you. 1: have you cleaned the air filter yet, and how would you go about it? I tried pulling on it pretty gently but it wouldn't seem to budge. 2: have you had any issue with the front brake locking up and staying engaged? I had a bit of a problem which I fixxed by just dabbing the brake resevoir with a paper towel to remove some fluid, seemed that its done the trick but I'm just wondering if you've had any issues? Finally, 3: Do you know what size tires will fit on the stock rims? I looked on the tires themselves and through the manual but it seems that the info was scrubbed off my tires and is not in the chinese-translated manual. Greatly appreciate any info you have!
Hey man sorry for the late reply been sick 😷. Air filter will come out just needs a little pull normally. Make sure everything is removed. You can clean air filter by soaking in dish soap and water. Make sure you completely dry out before reinstalling. Haven’t had any issues with brakes yet. If there is to much fluid it will cause locking though so good fix. Final thing the tires. I went with same size that you read on the front tire and for the rear I went with a 110-90-18 you can use and online site that shows you the actual tire size difference. But almost any dirt bike tire is going to fit as long as the rims sizes match
@@motojanza5686 hey janza, been a while, have rode lots since the last comment, anyway, wanted to know if -minus the broken starter relay- you had any other problems with the electric start. mine only likes to start when i turn the handlebar at a certain angle, and that angle has been slowly diminishing over time. wondering if the cables are getting loose, i can only imagine the stock wiring job being awful lol
@@gage6661 I believe we are going through the same issue possibly. I replaced my starter relay over winter and it did not fixed my problem. So I have mine still the way I showed in my temporary starter fix video. But I haven’t gotten to far on what is exactly going on but I believe there is some type of bad connection for either ground or power between the relay and the starter button because I can get power out of my relay but there is not power at the switch itself. I Been working a lot but if I do find the fix I will definitely post a video for everyone. Worst comes the worst running a BRAND new wire from the relay to witch should be a guarantee fix if the problem can’t be solved with the wiring within the wiring harness. I hope that helps for the mean time!
@@motojanza5686 oh yeah, one more thing, been meaning to ask if you use a designated torque wrench to tighten your spokes or if you just go at it with a normal one. ive been doing the latter, but id thought id ask someone who has the same bike haha
