Presence, the outdoor security camera, is able to detect people, cars and animals using its artificial intelligence. Live video broadcast via the app allows you to see what is going on using your smartphone. It features an integrated smart floodlight which only turns on when required, to deter unwanted visitors.

Excellent video. I just installed mine in less than an hour, and it works fine. Without the video it would have been much less clear. Incidentally, I see you have redesigned the earth connector - seems better. Integrates well with my Welcome and connection to my dropbox account was easy. Of course, it relies on a decent wifi connection. I had to move my router a bit closer, but it seems to have worked.
I am eagerly awaiting upgraded Tags. Mine are working, but there are structural weaknesses (the metal tab holding the lid on breaks off so I have them held together with cable ties!)
It was a gift and they returned it.
Finally a good installation video! What to do with the light switch? I assume it must stay on 'on'?

Hi, do you know if the Presence works on a dynamic IP address? I am switching providers from a static IP to a dynamic IP and wonder if this will cause an issue. Many thanks in advance.

Does it mean that the other light on the side of the house is on all the time? I presume that the switch has to be on in order for the camera to work right? So basically if someone comes and uses an outdoor switch to cut the power to the camera there is nothihng you can do. ?
Thank you for you message. The switch of the circuit, on which the camera is connected, must be constantly on indeed, otherwise the camera will not be powered and therefore not function.
Interested in the product but it's been out since 2017, without any major upgrades, that makes me sit on the fence for now. Still seems like a really good product though, compared to Arlo cameras that want's to empty your pockets by "having" to pay monthly subscription of required storage, and so on.

anyone else made nervous by the blue wire?
Don't like wires and the blue one is dangerously exposed!. This isn't allowed where I live because they can break easily. We have to use cables (only thick piece of copper).
Great product BUT!!!! My light has started to spontaneously turn on a night. Doesnt appear to be a fix online that i can find. I’ve ended up turning off the light rather than having it on auto.
Is this will be available in Indonesia? Need information

Beware the siren isn’t exposed to HomeKit so it’s useless as an alarm

1: Can you download video/pictures from the server to your pc? Or can you just watch the material?
2: What is the lifetime of the lightbulbs, and how can you replace them?
3: Where is the SD card installed, and can you replace it easy?
4: In the info it says you can install the electric dooropener from your garage door when it detects a car on your driveway. Isnt that a very handy option for burgelars? They drive their car on your driveway and the door automaticly opens for them?
Joemer Gauiran Hi Joemer, thanks for the answer. I think its very strange. In the whole manual in not one word about a SD card. And where are you suppost to find the card slot? It isnt on the outside and you cant open it, its welded together. Anyway, it is pissing me off more and more....It's advertised as "with free dropbox". But after 10 "warnings" your dropbox is full and then the spamming start! 60-70 times a day email's with "UPGRADE YOUR DROPBOX! YOUR DROPBOX IS FULL"! And last weekend we were without power/wifi again. NOTHING works anymore till you come home again! Is it THAT difficult to make it auto boot after a power/wifi cut?
How many can you install on your house ??? is it only one ???
And what are the frame rate at 1920 HD format ???
Thank you for your message. You can add as many cameras as you wish to the same home and account. You will be able to use the cameras through the same app. The frame rate is 24fps

we also got the camera, installation was quite easy! but.. if we want to connect the camera to the internet using the app, it says we have to manually insert the IP address. it does not connect automatically. how can we fix this ?

I just bought this and my camera has all capital letters "NETATMO" at the bottom of the camera lens, I saw a video on youtube with lower case "netatmo", WHY is this and is there any difference there??
Also, How do you replace the memory card that is inside, NOTHING whatsoever in the guide papers.

I noticed in the video a 3 wire setup. My outside lights are now working in a 2 wire setup. Will this work anyway?
Hopefully I get a response here, I emailed support with pics and all regarding my issue, no response as yet, so far I'm not impressed with netatmo support! Anyway, I installed the Presence, powered it up, downloaded the app but it constantly displays"searching for camera" then it doesn't read the QR code when prompted as the light doesn't glow as expected but will turn on when motion is detected. I have at least 2 out of 3 bars wifi at the location which should be sufficient. I would appreciate some assistance. Tks

Netatmo hi. I have exactly the same issue. Disapointed now with camera.
Hi also here the same issue with a new Presence camera. The camera is connected to my wifi network (ip adress is visible and connection checked with a ping to the ip address) the connection speed is ca. 15-20 MBPs. Tried reset to fabric settings etc. but don't see any blinking lights when starting up and don't see any sign of reading QR codes. And in the end still no video or security signals are send / visible... Would also appreciate support otherwise i will have to return the camera

My netatmo Camera burnt out after 3 years , no light or night vision . Emailed the company in France and they made me pay 55.00 to ship it to them and then gave me a discount on a new one. I wish I never called , I could have just bought something else . Another brand would have been cheaper and just as good . By the way this took Months to resolve !!!!

This camera has a sleek design, but reading the reviews make it clear that this camera is not a reliable product. This is a 2016 product. The company needs to fix the issues. Netatmo apparently did update it... with a siren. They literally updated the product _for a siren..._ sigh... it also has a 1 year warranty.
I wish the other security camera developers (Ring, Eufy, Google, etc) hired better designers. Their white cameras literally look like children's toys... why are these companies obsessed with this weird bug-eyed white design? It literally reminds me of the first generation iPod... it's 2022.
The one positive thing about this camera is the encrypted storage and the ability to move files to a NAS.
Beware of this crappy product if you dont wanr to spend many hours with useless configuration work.
