Are these tips good for trail riding I’m about 130 pounds and don’t race never plan on it just want a smoother ride on the trails (i have an 06 Honda trx450r with stock suspension)
Yes a good ride height will make the bike handle better. So I would say a standard Mx setup is 7 inch’s at the foot peg and 7 1/4 at the back of the a-arms. I would run it more like 8 and 8 1/4. Also if you’re running bigger tires that will also help you with ground clearance.
Also if it’s riding hard there should be a place to adjust the shock and you can make it softer, that should make it ride a little smoother. I believe it’s a flat head screw driver and it should say h for hard and s for soft on the shock.
@@dirtchurchracing6854 thank you I adjusted the screw thing on the shock earlier but didn’t know much about ride height and what I should run for trail riding once again thank you for your time much appreciated 🙏
i'm the say way, trails no racing, max em all the way up, and tighten your shock screws all the way soft, i'm 200lbs on a 05' TRx450R and i have no issues

One question
What's your rear tire setup?
I know the tires size but sure on the rim size
I run an 8 inch beadlock and 18 x20x8 tire
@dirtchurchracing6854 First, thank you for answering me
Do you mean 8x8 rim?
I'm looking to order some for my yfz450r
Yes 8 by 8
