Zini: Look! Yar: Yah! Aladar: Woah! Me: Huh? Up ahead, a small creature I couldn't identify ran over a small hill. Aladar: Did you see that? Yar: What? Zini: I did. Suri: Me too. Me: So did I. We got up the hill to see that it disappeared. Plio: Where did it go? Aladar: I don't know. Let's go see. Yar: Leave it alone! Plio hit Yar, not wanting to scare off whatever it was. Yar: Hey! plio: SHHH, Dad! Yar: I-it's scaring Suri! Suri: No, it's not. Me: Everyone, be quiet! I'll judge if it's something we should worry about. As we searched for the creature, more chittering was heard. We looked left to see the animal and my ears fell flat on my head. Me: Oh no! Aladar: *a bit worried* What is it? Me: Raptor. Small but fast, these carnivores are well known for their big toe claw on each foot. Another raptor appeared beside the first one. Me: But the most dangerous part about them... Three more of them came from our right. We now realised that the raptor was alerting it's packmates of lunch. Me: They hunt in groups! We were now surrounded by them as they are slowly approaching us. Then, one raptor jumped on a rock next to us and hissed. That causes Aladar to jump back while Suri screams and the pack closed in on us. Aladar backed up onto a wall while I stood in front of him hissing and roaring at them. The leader tried to attack us, but I slashed at him causing him to scream in pain. Me: RUN, ALADAR, RUN!!! We jumped over a rock into an open field with the pack on our tails. If anything, that made this worse for us. At the same time, a sandstorm came, hindering our vision. I tried to use my fire and air bending to throw them off balance. While a few got hit, the others caught up. One jumped on Aladar and bit him causing him to roar in pain. I bit it by the tail and peeled him of my friend. Another tried to attack the lemurs but missed. Yar fell off of Aladar's back but Zini caught him in time. Zini: Yar! Grab on! Yar: I can't reach! Zini pulled him up before a raptor narrowly missed him. I jumped and swiped him off Aladar. The attackers stopped their assault as they sensed something ahead. Plio: Aladar, Sam, they're stopping! We both skid to a halt to see them running away. We looked to see what made them run and were greeted by an iguanodon ramming into us. Iguanodon: Stay out of my way! I quickly recovered with a sharp growl at the aggressor while the lemurs leapt for safety as he walked over him. Other iguanodon: You heard Kron, move it! I'm definitely not liking those guys anytime soon. Aladar got up and the lemurs climbed back onto him. We then met the herd they were leading. A bunch of babies went under Aladar and, when he looked up, accidently bumped into a female iguanodon. Female Iguanodon: Watch it! We kept looking at her as she walks off. I turned around to see a pachyrhinosaurus coming straight for him. Me: Aladar, look out! It was too late as the pachyrhino hit his leg causing him to fall. The lemurs were trying to avoid getting hit by the microceratops who were jumping over Aladar. Yar: Zini, get your head down! Once they passed us, we heard a wailing sound. We turned to see a brachiosaurus (which is weird since they were said to be extinct around 145 million years before the birth of Christ). Aladar had to shift himself to avoid getting stepped on while I walked around it. They went underneath it and looked in awe at it's sheer size. We then met an old styracosaurus. Old styracosaurus: Walking backwards, huh? Well, let me know if that gets you there any faster. Keep those little legs moving Url or you'll get left behind! A small ankylosaurus was following the old lady panting like a dog. Soon, the storm cleared to show the mix herd of at least 100 individuals. Suri: Look at all the Aladars! Me: They travel in herds! Aladar looked genuinely happy to see more of his kind, but Yar didn't like were this was going. Yar: If you're even thinking about joining--- He was interrupted by a growl which made Zini yelp and hold onto him. We looked back to see that the raptors were back for more. Me: Safety in numbers! Aladar: Hang on! Hang on! Aladar and I started to run towards the herd and the pack gave chase. When we reached the slope, they gave up the hunt, deeming it too risky to continue. The leader then hissed in annoyance of another failed hunt.
We better get away from those raptors and go with the herd! Let's this be a lesson everyone if you are on a field trip or on an adventure with some friends stay with the group!
