Peanuts is very popular in Taiwanese style zong zi which is a type of Lo Mai Gai. Usually in a 3D triangle shape and uses the bamboo leaf as opposed to lotus leaf. My mother used to make em when I was little cuz its traditional Taiwanese food but she has since stopped cuz its very tedious. Lo mai gai is Cantonese style and doesn't have peanuts so I prefer it better.
