This is one of my favourite streams in recent months. Hope everyone enjoys MONEY. GOD I LOVE MONEY.

2/5 Stars - Front of the store was surrounded by boxes literally sitting a foot from the trash can. Owner was ripping packs for an hour before he helped me, shouting about how he "needed the Charizard for his UA-cam thumbnail" and other deranged ramblings. Meanwhile, the amount of terrible smelling customers he allows in his store leaves much to be desired. Also, he's Irish, so an immediate point down. I would stay clear of Cardboard Crack. The guy who runs the place seems like he's got some skeletons in his closet. Maybe serial killer.
Yet he still got two stars.
Watching Dan call people who spend 60$ "big spenders" has really put into perspective just how badly addicted the people at my local game store is, there are 10 separate people who drop 400$ a piece every time a new One Piece set drops, or the YuGiOh players who will easily drop 100$ each (there's like 30 of them) whenever there's a sneak peak.
Think it really depends on the person, and the frequency of purchase. If you drop 400 dollars thats a lot of money but if you're only doing so when a bew set comes out like every year or so its not that bad. But if you buy 50 dollars of food and alcohol for game day on sunday with the boys thats way more than 400 dollars.
@@madmanwithaplan1826 One thing though, One Piece sets drop once every 3 months, and YuGiOh drops 1 set (or more) a month
Holy moly that's a lotta money... I hope to have that much leftover after 3 months on the regular at some point. Nowhere near that now 0_0)
$100 is low for Yugioh, a recent card dropped that costs $150 and it is almost mandatory to have 3 copies of it or you have a much worse chance of winning. One of the many reasons I quit playing

This is what I imagine Daithi and Dan opening a gaming store in real life would quickly descend into: just opening packs of cards all day while customers watched through the window.
Kevin has experience running a gaming store. I'm sure adding him to the mix would help their store run smoothly. Definitely.
Can't wait to see Dan devolve into an unhealthy pack opening addiction each time he unlocks a new card pack tier.
Can someone make a "Best of Daneshiro" highlight video with every time rt does his thing. Hell, you could even spawn a whole sub category of them: "daneshiro, but the video speeds up every for every thousand dollars he gets" or something
I very rarely watch a full VOD without making breaks, but I just spent almost 4 hours watching this and I would do it again

I love that he just has "Price" on standby to play whenever needed

I liked watching the stream of him open pokemon cards back then. So seeing him play this actually made me happy

I think dan might be a gambling addict, how many boosters did he sell versus those added to his collection, any mad lads willing to count it out lol.
Also, I kind of want to know if you can explore the town once Kenneth is able to run the register for you. Like Kenneth arrives to go to work, finds Dan in the middle of the floor passed out among a bunch of wrappers, and asks him to take a walk for his own good.
I love how this game looks kinda busted but it has the core mechanics down so is super addictive

I always sell things at 10% BELOW market price, you still make a good profit, but I feel that customers buy more.
But then you have to restock more often. I sell at 30% above so it's worth me stopping ripping through packs.
It's not gambling if you just open your own stock

but only if this game is as successful as palworld
So frustrating to watch him run the shop. Just stock the fucking the rare cards. Instead he buys card sleeves and keeps the rares for himself. Then all the tables are constantly full. Again instead of stocking the rares or buying the a table he buys a new license and stocks plushees. Hard to watch.
And the unnecessary shop extensions... So inefficient. Really makes my autistim go.
Gambling addiction is a disease. Know the warning signs and treat Dad with empathy.
