Huh. I remember having an orange bey I think of the same series as Trygle, but that one had a large attack ring with fanblades connecting to the outer edge. Think the purpose of the fanblades was to provide extra downforce, but if you wanted you could also disconnect the ring from the rest of the bey, flip it onto a launcher pointing upwards, then let it rip and watch the ring fly away. Didn't really do that much because I had a track record of losing flight-capable plastics as a child.
@TustlePlays trypio I think is what it would be. It was yellow though and had the largest attack ring from the plastic gen, was a defense bey and was meant to keep the other bey moving and slowing faster because of it. Was a dark red or orange version too though
It's a...fun gimmick, but it's not practical at all. It's just as likely to kill itself. Also, this blue one is a repaint from Hasbro's second "BBA Championship Series" subline near the end of the Plastic Era (like right after G Revolution and both Engine Gear & Heavy/Hard Metal Systems ended, but before the outright hiatus before the Metal Fight/Metal Fusion Era); the *original* release of Trygle was a reddish orange (fire red?), and was part of the very first season of the Bakuten Shoot Beyblade manga & anime, used by Michael of the All-Starz (I think the manga & Japanese version called the team the P.P.B. All-Starz), a group of sports themed folks. Michael's theme was baseball, I think Rick (and Rock Bison) was American Football, and I think that the girl (Emily?) who had Trygator (the original never had a toy, but Trygator 2 from G Revolution would get a pretty crappy toy) was themed for... either regular volleyball or beach volleyball, idk and I don't want to look it up. Oh, there's that guy who owns Trypio, his theme is basketball. (The toy had some actual FLIGHT ability if launched a certain way...if you had Takara's Trypio. Hasbro naturally remolded the Attack Ring to remove that ability. Yes, even then, Hasbro was nerfing things. 😒) Also, they had a little bit of beef/"a healthy rivalry" with Max (the guy who runs Draciel). Why? Well...the coach of the All-Starz...IS MAX'S MOM.
