From my own perspective, just your regular daily routine / chores alone is a major priority, you and Josh have a lot on your plates to contend with more so than most of the population, I think a lot of folks already know where you are coming from and are more than appreciative that you can even find the time to share your journey.

Hey Josh, something I learned as a kid on a cattle ranch putting up miles of fencing: To tie the fence to the post you need two 6” metal bars, about 1” wide, with a hole on one end just slightly bigger then your tie wire. Bend wire around your post and over the fencing wire. Then slide the 2 bars over the ends of the tie wire and roll it around the fence wire. Fast, clean and easy.

Its even more impressive to see ANY kids dressed, outside in the fresh air, getting exercise and helping out rather than stuck in the house and just using their thumbs to play video games. Its a rarity this day and age to see kids interacting with animals / nature, their grasp and appreciation in knowing what it takes to live and have a clear understanding where food comes from.
We admire you for encouraging your children to assist on projects and occasionally asking for their input. You give them some ownership in your homestead so they will have pride in what is being accomplished. Good parenting produces great children.

I worry about her Pelvic Floor! I used to lift like that with jobs. Now I have bladder issues. But, if I recall, she previously did some sort of serious weight training (maybe competitions).. so, hopefully she knows which muscles to use. Glad I’m not only one who worried tho

For first time wire fence builders you did good. I do want to let you know that staples will NOT hold your fence tight to the wood post. You must wrap your fence wire around the post, and twist it back onto the fence. Staples on a wood post are used to keep the wire from moving up or down on the post, not to hold it tight. Nice to see the whole family involved. Quite refreshing.
Congratulations Carter!! Make sure and purchase lots of the wax for Carter’s braces so he doesn’t tear up the inside of his lips. My kids said the wax was a Godsend!!! I love that you put your kids education first, as you should!! You’re a wonderful example to other parents!! Many blessings to you and your family!!!

After watching your wonderful and inspiring videos over the years, I came to a moment that suddenly cleared my mind and thoughts. I took another look at farms literally and here what I had come to it. Far and Arms, that's it. Living on a farm, it needs far reaching arms! I got to have my brain working, kind of figuring things out, and nutrition to support my body to have a good strength and boom! to locate a farm and retire to it! When my grandchildren come to visit, I'll let them work!

Great job today on fencing. We have almost as much to run after a couple giant trees took out ours last February and our brand new dog kennels. For a safety measure. Adding some sort of lock that can swing up and hold the legs so it can’t accidentally fall on someone.
