- IFR Lesson #8 seems very vanilla in a lot of ways as Karin is just learning how to fly a non-precision RNAV approach using the Advisory Glideslope function and then again flying the standard "dive and drive method". However, Karin had a big breakthrough moment during this flight which I hope you will watch and see.

Great movies! I'm in my IFR practice training and it helps me learning ;-) Just wondering the kneeboards you are using.
Great video Mike. All I can think about is me trying to do this with my wife! Karen is a good sport! The precision of Mikey G will make her a great pilot. I tend to use the CDA / CDFA method even if there is no GP Advisory. Many of our approach plates in Canada now provide the distances and altitudes to give a 3 degree (ish) slope and don't even show the dive and drive profile. Do the US plates do this?
It's great flying with Michael. He's demanding which is good for me. Keeps me on my toes!
