  • In this video, we'll explain why you should never use smartphone speakers to play nature sounds. We'll explore the reasons behind this and share alternative options, like ear buds, headphones and bluetooth speakers that can provide a much better listening experience for nature lovers. Whether you enjoy listening to rain and thunder or thunderstorm sounds, ocean waves or snowstorm sounds, make sure to watch this video before you hit play on your phone.
💫 I recommend listening to the video at low volume, so you have the best relaxing feeling. Enjoy it!
    Happy Relaxing Everyone! 🙏
    All the best, Edy 😊

Hey there Eddie, been a bit. I wish you the best of days and that your day only gets better from here.
Thanks for pointing this out for everyone. I've been using some cheap speakers that I've had for awhile, or using my monitor speakers, over my phone because it just sounds better. The phone, as you said, makes the rain sound like sand in some cases or, as one would say in winter, fresh static snow.
I'd recommend getting an adjustable speaker with a sensitive knob, even if it's of a cheap quality. You can, at least, put the speakers in two separate places and try to mimic the feeling of having the rain feel like it's all around you.
On a separate note, I have to thank you for all the video's you've put out over the years. It's helped me, and many others. And, you deserve the best mate. Here's to a good nights sleep and quality nature sounds.

Funny enough, this last trip in the semi, my partner n I were talking about this. We had noted how much better sound quality we got when playing the sleep rain and thunder videos of yours through his Bluetooth connector to his trucks speakers vs when I blast my smartphone on loud like I do when home.
Now we're planning to get a speaker for the house and a better speaker for his truck as even though those speakers the thunder just sounds off sometimes. Watching this video and what you said about the lower frequency sounds has me thinking better speakers will fix that and help me n my partner to sleep a lot better in the truck.
    Thanks for the video!!!

I've always used earbuds or wireless headphones. ❤ I have some hearing loss from lots of ear Infections as child. So need headphones or earbuds to hear. Love them the sounds are much richer especially thunder and storms.

A bit off topic but have you thought of doing 3 hour long compositions? Those are great to save some battery on my phone and also give me piece of mind that my phone won't be running all night long, lol.

Hey Pete, I would definitely do them, but the YT Algorithm doesn't like it on my channel, due to very low viewerships. But feel really welcome to visit me on Spotify, Apple Musick, Amazon Music, etc. There you can listen to 1 hour recordings. Also check out my Spotify playlists. Happy Relaxing to you, Edy 🤗
