I love this lady so much. I hope every day that Breyer will make a model of her, like I don't even care what mold I just love her! You did an amazing job!
Breyer totally missed the boat this year. They chose the Emerson mold for the Breyerfest Surprise model (which is perfect for Sodashi) but no white. Wish they'd have done a lovely chalky white vs the double dilute they chose. She'd have been super popular even if it wasn't done specifically as a model of Sodashi
I love how you showed that you make the metal pieces, for the halter and saddle and different ribbons and spandex for girth. Thank you for the tack tutorial!!!
I came across this video while searching for videos about soda ash! It's not just about the features of soda ash, but also the design of the Sakura Prize, which is made with great attention to detail. It's wonderful! I'll continue to support you in the future. With love from Japan
This is amazing! I will absolutely be using that technique to sculpt tails! No more fingers covered in superglue and baking soda for me! You’re super talented and she turned out amazing!!!
So beautiful ! I love that mare . The tack seemed so much harder than the horse. You picked the perfect model to customize into her. You are improving all the time as well. Thanks again for sharing your talent.
@@ThylacinaThat is correct! In those places, The people EAT HORSE MEAT! The Japan ship live horses in from Canada. LIVE HORSES fly into Japan for slaughter. People, horse lovers, in America should know what happens to their horses when the horses end up in the auction yard. Some are also trucked in over crowded trucks to Mexican slaughter houses. My point is, horse lovers need to KNOW.
@@kilodeltawhisky1504 People have consumed horse meat since time immemorial, no different than cattle or pigs or chickens. Don't misunderstand me, I've loved horses my entire life and I don't like it anymore than you do, but it's a fact. Besides, what would you have horselovers of America do? Form a human chain and stop the trucks getting through? Glue themselves to the tarmac on a runway? Boycott Mongolia, which is one of the largest consumers of horse meat in the world? You'd have better luck robbing the Bank of England.
It’s pretty cool how you can melt plastic to reshape it, I tried something similar with a pokemon figure a while back and it caught fire (whoops) thanks for the tips at the beginning of the video about this, It really helps! :D (the custom is also very cute, you inspire me a whole lot!)
Amazing as always! Would you consider doing tutorials on sculpting gender parts? I haven’t seen too many tutorials out there And also maybe a more in depth tutorial on sculpting the free flowing tail strands? I’ve never seen your method before and it looks great!
Thank you so much! I guess I don't do specific tutorials, but I could possibly compile footage and talk more in depth, I've been making mares which are a lot easier to sculpt haha. I do have a video coming soon where I will go into the tail more, it's even more flowing!
Sugoi! I did a Sodachi too. Mine was on a Seattle Slew also. I did a Buchiko also. That one was on a Ruffian model. I didn't alter mine at all. I like what you did with the mane & tail. Well done!
This is my fav vid from you i did my first custom with help from your vids but not my favorite. p.s this is my dads laptop i am 10 years old!!!😃😃😃😃😃🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴
Dang I can't remember exactly, I was doing a lot of other projects at the same time, I'd say a guess of 10 hours on the horse and the same for the tack but I'm not exactly sure.
Not totally against it- horses love to run, especially thoroughbreds, and I don't think there's anything wrong with people and animals competing in sports together in the broad strokes. The racing industry is disgusting though. This horse was started as a two year old- way too young- and of course was broke down and retired by age 5. Stalled all day, with no way to express their natural behaviours or bond with other horses as they should. It's no wonder the sport has an ugly reputation, and until things clean up it's deserved.
@@froginatubI don’t think the horse racing industry will ever clean itself up, it has financial incentive to not do so. You don’t have to clarify that you’re not against the act of horses running in sport whenever you talk about how awful the racing industry is btw lol.
@@alchemy3368I don't think we have to argue, because we seem to agree with one another about the racing industry! I will say that many people *are* against sports with animals of any kind (you see this a lot with dog sports eg), which I strongly disagree with! I think doing activities with your animals is enriching for humans and animals both, and there is not exploitation in it inherently- and I do actually see disagreement often. I think a lot of people care about animal rights a lot but don't actually *know* very much about animals, and they can see exploitation where it doesn't exist, or get in the way of the things that are actually important for animal welfare; protesting herding dogs herding, or horses being ridden at all. This person does say they're against "racing in any shape or form" which to me implies the clarification that (in my opinion) there are some shapes and forms it *is* acceptable is necessary. Like many things, the incentives of capitalism have rewarded exploitation, and so created a rotten industry- I hope everything else I wrote in my comment proves that I do agree with that.
I don't really see how liking a video of a sculpture supports horse racing in any way.....they aren't getting money for it. And I understand even less why you felt the need to say so, tbh. You're kind of preaching to the choir on this particular platform, and it kind of reeks of impotent and mean-spirited judgement rather than helpful and effective activism....

Wow! She looks amazing! 😍And I love the racing tack you made too! Gorgeous 🥰❤
Beautiful work! I normally don’t like satin ribbon bridles but yours looks great.
So happy to see that you gave her eyes some sparkle!
I had never heard of this racehorse, Sodashi seems so cool! Great video!

Great video but the picture quality made it difficult to see things 💕
Thanks for letting me know, do you mean the out of focus parts or was the whole video low quality? Glad you liked it ❤
Isnt sodashi White dragon?
I think White Dragon is a stallion, I don't know too much about him though
