    Great review, I’ve owned my CS2520 since November 2021, it’s a great tractor for tight places, it’s done everything I’ve asked it to do.

    Enjoyed the review. I have the CK3510se for almost 2 years now and really love it. Still amazed at the lift capacity for these small to midsize tractors.

    lol agreed. I have a Kabota Dealer 10 minutes from my house but chose a JD that is an hour away because the pedals. I looked at the Koiti's but the closest dealer was 2-1/2 hours away. A little too far if I had any issues. Great video!

    I leave my stump grinder on all year except during the winter when I have the rear blade and front blower on my BX. Not only is it nice to alway have the stump grinder ready to go but it make a great ballast. Thanks for the video

    • @timbervisions
      @timbervisions  2 роки тому +2

      It is a nice ballast weight for sure and on the ready at a moments notice is nice as well. If I'm clearing and gathering firewood I usually have it on for that reason as well. Plus it doesn't stick out too far as other attachments can.

      Been pretty happy with my cx2510 the backhoe makes the front end extremely light. Can't use without the front loader and would recommend weights for the front if you get the backhoe. I recommend the backhoe 100% it has been so useful on my property in the mountains of NC for everything from cutting trails to processing firewood.

    I’ve been wondering about the treadle pedal on the kubota. Thanks for the info

    • @timbervisions
      @timbervisions  2 роки тому +1

      Some people like it, others not so much. I think a guy could get used to it after awhile, but it was awkward for me when I ran it. Keep in mind I had always used the two pedal system prior to that so I'm a little biased on that as well. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    • @matthewhayes7765
      @matthewhayes7765 Рік тому +1

      I've ran both and definitely prefer two separate pedals. Obviously it's personal preference. But I think how can you go wrong with a forward and a back. The tredal pedal brings nothing to the party to me, it's just awkward

    Hey Mr. Timber Vision. I bought the same cs2520s with a backhoe on it. I took the backhoe off and now there is no 3 point attachment kit on the back with the top/ bottom link and all that stuff. I went to my dealer and they say don't know what to do. What did you use once you took off the forklift for the 3 point attachment kit? I can't put my box blade on. Thanks so much.

    • @timbervisions
      @timbervisions  11 місяців тому +1

      I would think it should have come with the 3 point even though it had the back hoe on it. I didn't opt for the back hoe, so I can't say for certain on that. Wish I had more info for you. I'm surprised your dealer can't help you in this situation. Best of luck to you.

    So I was literally looking at this exact model and that exact stump grinder and contemplating on getting it. I like this tractor because it’s small has a relatively good sized engine and it would be good for getting in tight areas. I already have a bigger tractor but I need something smaller for tight areas. How dose the stump grinding do on it?

    • @timbervisions
      @timbervisions  Рік тому +1

      It does very well on this little tractor. The grinder has a slip clutch that is set according to the pto HP of the tractor. This prevents overtaxing the tractor if you get a little aggressive on your bite size. Check out some of my videos. I have a Playlist specifically for this stump grinder. Best of luck in your decision!

    • @barnhartandsontreeservice965
      @barnhartandsontreeservice965 Рік тому +2

      @@timbervisions I will definitely check that out. I just actually stumbled across your page just now. That’s the thing I like about this specific model. It has a decent sized engine for running a PTO. I was looking into those grinders and they were saying about there’s a breaking. And all that but I was just wondering overall how it did. no doubt I would love to have it on a bigger tractor but when you go into business doing tree work, it seems like stumps are always in the most impossible places and if I get something massive, I’m going to be limited as to what I can actually get into. But yeah, I’ll definitely check those videos out. I’ve seen them working on bigger tractors, but was wondering about this specific application.

    How is the dealer support, do they stock a decent amount of parts and is there another dealer that you could turn to in the state/province. Most of the sub-compacts are very comparable and I believe it comes down to dealer/brand support.

    • @timbervisions
      @timbervisions  2 роки тому

      Craig I agree. Dealer support is very important when it comes to which tractor to go with. For me personally the dealer I bought from is the closest one. There are a couple more in the state from me as well, but I've been treated well by them. As far as parts availability I'm not sure as I haven't needed any yet. When I needed filters for 50 hour service they what I needed in stock.

    • @timbervisions
      @timbervisions  Рік тому

      Mine is around 1500 or so at idle. Remember, top rpms on these smaller diesels run higher than the larger 4 cylinders do. They can run much lower rmps. Hope this helps and glad my experience helped you in your choice!

    I know this is an older video but just had to comment. I own John Deere but my dad has kioti and I have spent many hours on it. I notice you didn’t mention cons. My single biggest con is the brake on the same side as the hydro pedals. I hate it. There are times in slopes etc picking something up that you need the brake to stop rolling. I find myself with both feet on the right side of the tractor. Crazy. Put the brake on the left and get rid of the clutch pedal

    • @timbervisions
      @timbervisions  2 роки тому +2

      I would agree, that would not be ideal. With my model, the CS2520 the brake is on the left side and hydro is on the right side. Not sure which model you're father has, but it's not this one. I have seen some configured that way though and thought the same thing. Thanks for watching and for the comment!

      I have the same tractor, and at times fell like I should have purchased bigger but I’m only on 1 acre lot and it’s held up. I like it’s compactness especially for loading on to a trailer. But now would like to get the most out of it and a grappler and an add a grappler to the bucket. Did you install front third function yourself or dealer installed?

    • @timbervisions
      @timbervisions  2 роки тому +1

      Dealer installed but I have few videos showing the way it was routed (which I changed). The wiring I did not touch on though. Check out the Kioti playlist, there are lots of videos I've done on it. I agree, sometimes wish I went bigger, but love the tight spaces I can get into. Thanks for watching!

    Not true what you said about Kioti’s next frame size up. The loader joystick is not on the loader. It is on the fender like yours is. I don’t think Kioti makes a model with the joystick any where but the fender. Also next frame size up CK2610 loader cap is 1800 lbs or so.

    • @timbervisions
      @timbervisions  Рік тому

      Actually the next size up is the CX model. It has the capacity to come with a cab and it's lift capacity is about 50 lbs. More than the CS model. The older CS models had the stick coming from the loader. Thanks for watching!
