    I went there almost 20 years ago. It's a magical place. It's one of the only river deltas that doesn't empty into a lake or ocean. It just disappears into the desert. Africa!

    I am glad that they will use only night vision in Africa to film the animals.. because the herbs to live quiet at night and give time to young ones learn how to run and more chance for then to survive

    It would be absolutely devastating to think that they could go out and cull the elephants when they're endangered in other parts of Africa. I know in a perfect world it would be great to see some herds of these elephants packed up into trucks and brought to where they're needed. I'm no expert but even i can imagine there would be serious problems with this, apart from it being a logistical nightmare it would also be because the matriarch wouldn't know where the watering holes or best feeding grounds are for her family to survive the harder times. That's something they learn from their mothers and is taught over a lifetime. So if you move them hundreds of miles away from what they know what are you going to do, i know they're very intelligent but i don't think it stretches as far as map reading, you can't give them a compass and map and send them on their way but if anyone knows otherwise i'd love to hear about it.

    • @birdiechidambaran5132
      @birdiechidambaran5132 4 роки тому

      BUT elephants are hugely intelligent and with a little help from Man I think they can manage to know and adapt to their new surroundings. It is at the initial stage that they may need a helping hand to come to learn about the new environment.
