Yeah, Stream of Passion is awesome. Being born in the Netherlands I've had a lot of oppertunities to see them live. And yeah, they do sort of sound link them.
The vocal line pulls me right aside Edenbrigde, and well, I'm not totally convinced the arrangement, I can't deny she has an elegant colorature and matches perfect the "idea" or the concept, you can work more on this good luck!, above the instrumental arrangements are very good, so melodic, heavy, it rocks!! I hope to hear more about you guys, keep tunning and good luck!!

LOL. I seem to disagree with a number of you. Yes... they have the same presentation as so many metal bands in this genre... it is getting old. BUT... the music itself is quite refreshing. What an interesting collection of odd accidentals (notes that don't fit the key they are playing in). I really liked the song. But geesh... my first reaction to the singer was that they picked her because she looks good. She has a nice sound, has some good vibrato and head voice, and the tone fits the music... but to me her voice lacks the power of many of her contemporaries. This is more evident in the last third of the song when she comes back from the break of high notes. I guess that makes sense though if they are a new band. Even Shannon didn't sound the best on WT's first album.
+moverseve I agree that the music is refreshing for the reasons you mentioned, but I disagree on her beauty. Don't get me wrong she looks fine, but she's not the type some would pick for reasons of beauty. At least this is how I feel.

When Nightwish are only bringing out new albums once every 5 years now, one ISN'T enough. Just remember, as "UNIQUE" as Nightwish sounded when they first started they had their own musical idols they wanted to imitate (and if you think Nightwish were the FIRST to mix classical/operatic vocals with heavier music then you've clearly never heard of Andrew Lloyd Webber. So by YOUR standards, Nightwish shouldn't exist.
